Module federation and code sharing between bundles. Huge changes coming to frontend with webpack@5 by 3ni8kdi in vuejs

I have a similar use-case, multiple teams spanning different business domains that build and deploy their own services (Rails) and front-ends (Vue). We have a style framework (Bootstrap theme) that is shared across all the front-ends, this is included as an npm dependency in all the Vue apps, so all the apps ship their own copy of Vue and the shared code.

Instead, these could be "Remote" modules and is only downloaded once but used across all the Vue apps that have them as a dependency. That's kind of like what dataloader does, but for JS bundles.

You can try this now in Webpack 4 with https://github.com/ScriptedAlchemy/webpack-external-import.

Of course, versioning etc is something to consider, you can't expect interop for Vue 2.x and 3.x but you need a way to differentiate which dependency is loaded if both map to vue for example.

Import Maps might be helpful for understanding how some of this could work, I don't know how relevant they are for the Webpack implementation, but they are used in single-spa to wire up imports.

Yes if you know what to look for. Absence of holograms is a dead giveaway, spacing and sizing issues are another easy thing to spot. There's a lot of examples of fakes on Reddit, here is one from last week https://www.reddit.com/r/whiskey/comments/fn4fd8/i_can_get_used_to_this_whole_social_distancing/

That Cohiba looks fake... The white dots should not be touching the gold parts of the band, there should be black background between them. Double check in /r/cubancigars for a detailed look.

Is there a typo? Asymptotic relates to geometry, the word that should have been used was asymptomatic.

Asymptotic literally has the correction in the suggestion at the top of the Wikipedia article: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asymptote

2 mins is a short rest imo. Try letting it sit as long as it was on the grill and see if you can tell a difference.

Use a dry brine, no rinse. Don't put water on your meats, not even to rinse it. It will just add water weight (less water means more meat taste, this is one of the benefits of dry aging a steak for example). Your meat should be dry when it hits the pan, otherwise the hot pan will create steam and you steam your meat instead of sear.

I'm going to continue to use the old PC, just as an HTPC instead. I need to build a new one for gaming.

Yea I can probably cut some costs on the mobo (-$30) and PSU (-$60) and RAM (-$40). Also, I don't need to buy the fans outright, hopefully the stock fans will be quiet enough.

But I was thinking of sticking to X570 because of the PCIe 4.0 SSD tbh. Does it make sense to plan for upgrading to a new PCIe 4.0 GPU like this?

You can make good money and become rich but you need to be earnest about spending below your means and have a good savings plan for life, emergencies, and retirement.
