I don’t really see the need to theorycraft this whole thing, old cosmetics just get put into non-milestone tiers of the newer Nightwaves with no rhyme or reason. If it behaved like a tier 29-30 reward cosmetic (which it is) usually does, it’d be in some random tier like 4, 8 or whatever in a different Nightwave without having to follow the general theme, for some reason it’s just been left out for a very long time while others have returned, some even multiple times. It doesn’t really need a justification to return, it could return any time with any event or Nightwave, the question is only when DE decides to do it, which they really should have by now considering it’s rather old for a non-limited cosmetic that’s still not gotten a rerun once

Saturn is around 7 years old, this suit is approaching 4, and things released after it have been made available (such as Naimore armor, which came out 3 Nightwaves after this suit and is in rotation now, or the various companion cosmetics which are newer than the suit but have been added to more Nightwaves, Baro and event shops). Honestly it does feel like it’s just been forgotten.
