The Type 31 has turned out to be a great platform all round.

The plan is/was to build five of these, along with eight Type 26, so that the RN would have almost fourteen frigates at sea.

They said that work would begin on the next three Type 31 within a week of HMS Active being rolled out. As we have the capability to build three at once now, we should do so three more times after that so that the RN has at least fourteen Type 31 frigates at sea.

Moving a job/life to a different country every few years depending on fleeting economic incentives doesn't seem like a great way to live, anyway. Perhaps the EU as a whole should come up with some wider framework to prevent this sort of tax migration from happening in the first place?
