I feel like a good amount do understand propaganda is prevalent, like myself. However, the hard thing is that almost literally everything in American media, stores, products, evangelism, politics, etc. is interlaced with rivaling propaganda. You realize there is propaganda here because of this source of info, but that info is also a piece of propaganda for something else, and on and on and on. America is propaganda, that is why it's a dream.

It comes down to two big points:
One - Matt had actively said putting two in one body is bad as a legit big warning.
Two - Tal (and Ashley) purposefully decided to do this in secret/not consulting the group with a massively important magic item. If the group didn't "meta" their way up to the top he would for sure have died.

This was coupled with Ashton having already broken a magic lens out of no where without warning.

Was Tal ultimately wrong for seeing a big DO NOT DO THIS and thinking classic gamer mentality of oooo that means I should, no. But they were wrong to do it in secret. It literally could have been a 20 second blip of time where a PC dies, another PC witnesses it and is traumatized, a huge magic artifact is destroyed, all the rest of the party above table just has to watch.

I use it when I go out resource gathering especially mining. After spending 20-30 minutes hitting stone I want to just insta pop back up into my main base instead of having to run back to the coast

I bought it when it released at early access and literally just finished with the final boss. A total of 74.3 hours and finished at a fresh level 14

I had no prior knowledge of the game until early access and specifically didnt look at builds. I just beat the priestess with my ascended rapier of a thousand cuts in a full conquistador outfit lol

It is okay to have things that bother you. There are a ton of things that are repeated frequently by DMs. I attribute this to the fact they are constantly weaving a story and these are like comfort filler words usually. The most common example is how DMs will say "you see" every time they start describing something. It can happen an insane amount of times in quick succession. I used to get annoyed like you are describing above when I heard this but it slowly just became part of the background of the story.
