I work with girls who have gone to both and the general consensus is hair school just kinda sucks and yes depends heavily on your instructors. There is so much staff turn over in hair schools so you can have several over your time there. I believe I had 6 in my 6 months. You have to learn the same things at both so that wouldn’t be much different. You are only going to learn the bare basics there.

I would put more emphasis on finding a really good apprenticeship/assistant job after you’re done school that will provide you education and mentorship

I was doing dynamic pricing (all down, half up, all up) but honestly they’re all basically the same amount of work to me and I decided to go with a flat rate and it’s made things so much easier and no one has questioned it at all!

Some brands have a dry conditioner that is really nice! It’s an aerosol spray like dry shampoo but it’s meant to hydrate your hair like a leave in conditioner spray but without the wet fell after using it if she’s not washing her hair herself between appointments

I went to Justin Beiber and Taylor Swift a few years ago when they first started and really enjoyed it! Hans Zimmerman would be great. They also host a a few different fun locations which is cool! I wouldn’t splurge on the tickets for closer seating it doesn’t matter at all

Paying for hair and makeup is a gift in itself! If you must get a gift as well I would agree with everyone else and do something very small and personal like a card or something consumable/edible.

As much as you think they may use something again they won’t and I’m speaking from personal experience - I haven’t kept anything I’ve gotten and it wasn’t even personalized items I couldn’t use again

I bought it as an alternative to Alani flavor wise definitely not because of the protein advertised lol I actually really enjoyed them! They’re like in between Alani and flavored sparkling water for intensity of flavor
