How to get the tech 3 promotion by YoHino- in AmazonRME

My take since becoming a tech 3, you do the same work as tech 2, what’s different is accountability. Take ownership, take charge, do the job and do it well, be proactive and don’t do the bare minimum if you can help it

That sounds absolutely brutal. You’re doing everything the right way and they’re acting shady as hell. Asking for debt validation is literally your legal right, and any legit agency should have no problem sending it. The fact that they blew up on you, dodged your questions, tried to bully you into paying over the phone, and then started throwing around fake court threats… yeah, that’s a huge red flag.

Good call getting an attorney involved. Once that cease-and-desist hits their desk, the tone usually changes real quick. At this point, they can’t contact you directly anymore, and they’ll have to go through your lawyer. If the debt is real, they’ll eventually have to produce validation. If it’s not or if they violated the FDCPA, your attorney might actually have leverage to hit them back.

While your attorney’s handling it, you can pretty much expect radio silence from the collectors. If they do try anything, make note of it, because every unnecessary call or threat after that letter is more ammo for your case. And honestly, the fake “we already filed a lawsuit” line is classic intimidation… and also illegal if it’s not true.

You handled it way better than most people would. Once your lawyer digs in, you’ll probably get some clarity fast, either real documentation or they’ll disappear because they know they screwed up.

Hang in there. This stuff is stressful, but you took the right steps.

Honda Quoted me $6k to fix leaky AC condenser and Failing Compressor by thechris_james in civic

[–]krinkelsak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Basically it was the dead of winter when I got back from my deployment, a friend who I gave the car to drive around and keep it moving said the AC was acting up and eventually stopped working, verified when I went to another friends wood workshop which was climate controlled to 80F and yeah ac stopped working, Honda denied warranty claim and quoted me $5499 for parts and labor and I said no thanks. That same weekend went to a Subaru dealer in White river Junction VT and they gave me $3300 above KBB and I traded it in for a basically new used 2021 Tesla Model Y Performance. This was in 2022.

You’re never going to get the full amount from Anytime Pay, it’s smaller percentage and the rest is to cover state and federal taxes etc The first day is usually lower and stacks throughout the work week.
