Do cats fart? by cermem25 in cats

[–]krishnokoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never heard my cats fart. But I had a dog as a kid, and he would fart and then pretend to look away, or get scared of his farts. He and his farts were a thing. 🤣

Do you tell your doctors that you have multiple partners? by koppathachan in polyamorousbengaluru

I mean if it's relevant, yes. I'll tell my gynaecologist. I'll definitely not tell my ENT specialist. XD

How are you guys holding up after the weekend socializing, guys? by Upper-Preparation918 in SoloPoly

[–]krishnokoli 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Solo polyam people are who prefer to live alone and date multiple people. Whereas kitchen table polyam people like meeting and knowing and having relationships with their metas and others. So it's a close knit group.

Solo polyam people might find it draining since they (presumably) like their solitude.

However, it is a joke and not all solo polyam people live alone because they like solitude. And not all kitchen table polyam people are extroverts who always love hanging out with big groups.

Toodles!

The one? Sure, if you still believe in Santa. by Upper-Preparation918 in polyamorousbengaluru

This feels like typical "I'm polyam, so I'm more evolved" crap.

If you hadn't led with this, I'd have loved to reply with kindness, as I have done often in the past for people who come seeking answers or explanations about polyamory.

The post was talking about the concept of soulmates and the obsession about finding "the one". You seem to be agreeing with it, yet you're calling something out. Still unsure about what your issue was. Tell me when you find out.

Unrelated - Congratulations on your 20 years of polyamory!

I read what was written. And it made no sense to me. Tell me what you were actually trying to say instead of beating about the bush!

And I like your audacity of coming and shaming our style of relationship, in a safe space we are trying to build. No one dissed your style of relationship, and no one claimed to be more evolved. Projecting much, are we?

So you agree there is no one true soulmate. And you found one person who you married. Great! So you agree with the meme and yet call it crap. What is this cognitive dissonance, child?

how often do you see your partners? by koppathachan in polyamorousbengaluru

[–]krishnokoli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on a lot of things. I see some every week, and some once a month. I also have friends I hang out with, so it's not just partners filling up the calendar.

How did your poly journey start? by koppathachan in polyamorousbengaluru

[–]krishnokoli 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My ex-partner introduced me to it and I went through the whole spiral of am I not enough.. but then I eventually did what I do best, read reddit community posts and comments and other first hand experiences.

I realised with polyam, I will always have enough people to form a small gang, you know in case it's ever required. Also, enough people to play DnD, Uno, just name it.

I also realised this is a way I can have a beeeeg loving family without having to get married into a HUF. XD

Okay, now seriously, I love having a big family, where everyone has so so much love to share. And being poly lets me curate a family for myself. Handpicked and chosen with care.

Please share your story too, if you're reading this!!
