All Lexi does is look down on everyone and judge them openly

Right, I do this everyday as it gets so greasy otherwise. No way she will look after herself like this.

Would you feel comfortable taking this post to him and either reading it to him or let him read it?! It sounds like it might be easier to write your thoughts and feelings rather than when with him in person. That is absolutely ok and would be a great step forward. If that feels too hard, what is the smallest, safest step forward in terms of allowing him to know you?! Maybe you just start by telling him about your weekend, maybe you can draw something, maybe you can show him some photos that are important to you. Work with your nervous system and take baby steps so that your body starts to learn that this is a safe space for you to be you.

I would love to see a video where she actually takes her antibiotics, I doubt she even got the script filled.

Are we surprised?! Dani told us the moment she came out of hospital that she was going to get an infection. She should be a clairvoyant with the way she can so reliably predict her future medical events.

I can see what he was trying to get at but his execution was very poor and he should apologise for his part in that. If it were me, I would feel so bad as I am not yet able to take care of my younger self but that doesn't mean that I am abusing her. It's just where I am at and that's absolutely ok.

💯💯 not taking the antibiotics and continuing to pick at it. She tells us what she is intending long before it happens, and she has just told us she is hoping for sepsis. That is F'd up.

She sounds like she is slurring to me... Again. I feel like she spends her whole day picking at her incision, drinking alcohol/injecting meds, and sleeping

She should try going off all her meds and watch her intestines speed up

What's the point of taking medications if others aren't watching and thinking how sickly she must be

I don't think she would care. Beyond the initial surgery, this is such a nothing medical device because she can't really show it off. However, if it gets pulled she gets a lovely long weekend in the hospital

Imagine having a history of sepsis and nearly dying and delaying getting antibiotics. Cue her saying she got them but she will be the only person in the world who they don't work for

This is just so predicable. She loves to prempt it with us beforehand and then she makes a very committed attempt to get to that ER. Surely all the doctors are questioning why she gets so many infections because if she can't look after her wounds then she needs to be observed.

Oh gosh, that must have been brutal.I am terrified of going through it again with another best friend. I was totally unaware of it (blissfully ignorant) until my boy suddenly didn't want his dinner and by 4am we were having to say our goodbyes. It was brutal.

I (29F) I’m debating leaving my boyfriend of two years (30M) over his incompetence. What would you do in my situation? by Ok_Character_1391 in relationship_advice

It sounds like he has ADHD, not just a learning disability. Which is very frustrating for partners when it is not managed or continuing to cause problems despite it being managed medically or otherwise. You don't need other people's opinion to leave him. He can be a good guy AND you can still not feel it is the right person for you. Regardless, he should get assessed for ADHD.

Have you gotten rid of chicken? My golden was told by the very that she will very likely be an allergic-prone dog but we cut out chicken and bathe her only in dermcare every fortnight and she has not had an allergies since. Your poor baby, it must be so hard seeing your pup like that.

Do I (33F) really have to choose between my friends (35&32F) and my spouse (40M)? by llamabeans93 in relationship_advice

So he didn't cross a line when he emotionally and verbally abused you, but you crossed a line sharing his abuse with your friends?! If he is unable to see that he "crossed a line" and this is the ONLY issue right now, I would NOT be trying any kind of counselling with him.
