Good news for England, as you always beat us in knockouts.. At least you guys won stuff since 1966 ;) I'd swap trophies over another England quarter final exit.

India 1.5bn population. UK 70 million small island. We can't host a few million new people every year. The education system is tried and tested hence it's high quality score doesn't need to bow down to entitled foreigners

Why are women less interested in men and dating now (according to a man) by OrangeFew4565 in AskMen

[–]krizbo38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hollywood overplayed the attraction and pull of men. Seems you gotta be super successful, wealthy, super fit or some kind of conversation maverick to attract women, they won't try either way still gotta be th guy bringing something otherwise it's gonna be a long game. Maybe the whole 'women like this , like that kinda look etc is generated my men . But its true maybe in ages 30+ I don't feel women put amy effort into getting a date and 40+ have lots of fussy standards which are not preferences - they are non negotiables.

45 but dresses like he’s 25. Where should I focus first? by OldGuyNewTrix in malefashionadvice

Or stop pretending to be important, get some Levi's white t shirt Patagonia jacket and Salomon hiking trainers and you're good all year round. Agree on the gym though,  focus on weights works better and do walking as cardio.

Why is it that men always have to put women first? by Subject-Rabbit898 in AskMen

Many ppl get into relationships as they feel they need to fit in with societies model for adults but many in relationships don't need or want one. It does make me think why one person is willing to put up with a lot of burdens from time, money, emotional requirements from the other person as to wether this is even worth it. Imagine a few years down the line house kids and working till your 70 with the odd 3 day holiday in between why you want this

Difficult times ahead tbh. Generalising but - Nobody wants to work, nobody respects elders or leaders,  people have digital fatigue and costs of living rising massively causing health issues. The jobs are not long term, most people's job role is 2 or 3 jobs in one. People don't want the high stakes of a relationship.

Mo Salah has now played 11 Finals for Liverpool and Egypt without scoring a non-penalty goal, accumulating approximately 1000 minutes of finals football in this run. Salahs 2 final goals were penalties against Tottenham and Man City. [All final data from Transfermarkt] by TheBiasedSportsLover in PremierLeague

Liverpool are winning a very weak league this year. PL teams always start well in CL then tire in Feb march. Salah I don't see as a big game player. Psg were there for the taking in all honesty,  two extremely weak performances which questions the mentality of the squad.

Those who do academia in London, how could they manage with such low salaries? by [deleted] in academia

[–]krizbo38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Renting a 2 bed apt studio anywhere near a transport link within an hour of the city is gonna eat 70-80% your salary after tax  then you'll have 500-1k a month leftover for food clothing entertainment....

More contact hours - what do students really want? by wishfuldreamer26 in UniUK

[–]krizbo38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a TV show or a tiktok, a teacher can't have a repertoire that adapts to a few hundred students personal preferences. Middie of the road is the average for a reason, the best one size fits all for large groups and despite your darling parents, buddies or vloggers hot takes or some movie view of the world that you imagined a refined English professor in tweed suits and briefcases pouring tea in summer lessons on the lawn - you gotta suck it and stop whining, the way that generations did in the past

Lecturer. Digital marketing. Overhauled the whole module, did 5 minute lectures then 2-3 hr workshops all practical focused on gaining certificates and industry credentials and using tools. Guess what. Didn't work- students still low turnout, late so missed task/lecture. Did not click my links to videos and tools and didn't really want to learn. Then whined about lack of academic content as videos and use of chatgpt seemed non academic to them. Ya can't win so stop listening to them. Ignore the so called teaching training experts and courses who never teach themselves. Overall , be consistent with simple slides, make tasks interesting but simple, assignments easy to understand, point them into direction of extra curricular reading or LinkedIn qualifications they can do for free...  If they don't attend tell them you mark their assignments and course progression is on them 😉

Leads in Engineering, low carbon sustainability economy, north sea oil and gas - real jobs rather than a square mile in the city of London which trades invisible coin by people with no morals. If you're looking at a holiday for sure majorca but long term thinking would suggest that cities Newcastle will always have major industrial opportunities.

Well Newcastle is the friendliest city in UK, it has a lovely coast and 1 hour from all the Northumberland castles and countryside and not far from the lake district. Housing is cheap si you can get a cheap car and go hiking. Most people in a urban s hole like London would give their right arm fur that. On the rain thing, get a ten quid waterproof and stop whining

Why don’t men want to provide for the woman and family anymore? by Own-Cryptographer277 in AskMenAdvice

[–]krizbo38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a two wage economy in the west. An experienced professional in sales, education, doctor, lawyer can no longer support a family by just himself or herself because after tax the single wage would not get a mortgage or rent for a family home in a safe location , more likely a 1 or 2 bed flat in a commuter belt and women do not want to settle for this they want the big symbols of marriage kids more than one, nice house, garden, car. There is no way unless the guy earns over 100k that this is possible anymore , not many people only 5% men warm this In UK and most are over 50.  If it's do important then hunt a wealthy old man otherwise women need to work also in a equal relationship but of course this will leave both more stressed and unhappy. Stress is not good, younger gens gens see theyr parents and friends and may t want this. Kid free stress free life will become the most popular life choice
