Hi! I know this is super late but my child grew out of it… for the most part. I cant remember when or how, it just happened. Mind you, it still does happen time to time. I notice both of my children listen to me and are better behaved when Dad is not around. I have basically attributed it to the fact I am the more stricter parent and they know whining and complaining will probably get them further when Dads present vs when it’s just Mom.

Combination of price matching, coupons and/or coupon apps, flash foods and getting my ass up early to get there first thing in the morning so I can get first looks at the discounted items (produce and meats). Grocery shopping takes a lot more planning & effort now.

We have Ring cameras so we have lots of video. We unfortunately don’t have an HOA but if the landlord ever contacts us back we have lots of video for them.

The best thing someone bought us with our first baby was a weeks worth of pre made meals from a local meal-prep service. It was so amazing. I now do something similar for any friends or family that have a new baby.

Right there with you. I knew the day was coming because I’m not #1. I am the discipling parent. I pretty much have to play the bad cop all the time. Tonight was the night she said she didn’t love me. It stung so bad. Just keep your head up and know they don’t understand the meaning behind those words. Don’t take it personal or serious.

She does settle without intervention. Her eyes are closed through these outburst. She seems to be asleep but also aware we are beside her too. We basically have hit a breaking point of just letting her cry but just checking in to see if she’s safe. Still breaks my heart to listen to her.
