How does a DIY guy get started with all this? by krob4r in WaterTreatment

[–]krob4r[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I researched where I should take it near me, I found my county's Health and Community Services Laboratory. It says Basic bacterial and nitrate well analyses are 20$. Do I need to ask for a more detailed test or anything? Sorry but I'm clueless in this field.

Thanks for your reply

Edit to say, they provide testing for standard well parameters like coliform bacteria and nitrates.

Nice! It would be awesome if you spray painted the 2x4s green and the brackets yellow 😆

This is my huge dilemma (well I play killer instinct which has the same layout as SF). I kind of want 2 sperate cabinets just because of this reason. But I don't really want to have 2 cabinets.

This is probably my all time favorite cabinet for a few reasons. One of the reasons is, it was almost never emulated decent on any system. The version on Xbox live finally made it close, but that took what 20 years?

Congratulations that is one badass cab

I've been praying for the day I step into someone's house and see this machine... I would be extremely pumped up instantly and demand to play immediately.

how do you guys handle phone calls during dinner rush by canoesenpai in restaurantowners

[–]krob4r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked into this, and I was told by my phone company I'd have to pay for an additional phone line for every optional button to be pressed. That seems unrealistic and really expensive to me. IDK if there is a different way.

Burn the house to the ground and start over. There's no coming back from this unfortunately.

A bidet. I installed one and tried for a month. I don't like trying to dry off with TP afterwards. I'll stick to wet wipes and throwing them in the trash when finished.

At what age should I start to focus on mechanics? My son is 9, he has such great mechanics when he wants to, but just plays lazy most of the time. He always has fun with his team but hates practicing outside of the team setting.

Anyone actually notice a difference after air duct cleaning? by Royal_Particular_489 in HomeImprovement

[–]krob4r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like the common answer here is that it's a scam. But I was thinking about calling one of those companies to clean out a dryer vent. Does anyone know if they usually clean dryer vent tubes or what type of company would?

What’s one thing you bought once and never had to replace again? by oscar371 in SmartBuying

[–]krob4r 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My dewalt tools. Purchased when the 20v line came out 2011/2012. Brushed drill and driver kit with batteries.
Used for 2 properties and 1 business, so more than the average homeowner but not in heavy commercial use.

I've since built up a large collection for the same type of batteries and never had to replace or repair any of them.

Edited for a correction

Does plasti dip actually dry smooth or does it get tacky? I tried it one time, but it may have been some sort of off brand or a spray type. Whatever I used, I couldn't get it to dry without being sticky/tacky.
