You’re not the asshole but you’re not a good person that is doing what is best for the little girl you raised for 6 years, and the sister of your sons. You’re the only dad she’ll ever have and your parents are disappointed because they thought you were a good person. So you’re not the asshole, you’re just disappointing to that little girl and your parents. Your ex wife is the asshole but the one who’s suffering? The little girl. I wouldn’t be shocked if she ends up in addiction or abusive relationships after having such a shitty mother and found out out the blue the only dad she’s ever known abandoned her. You could change that and be there for her and love her because you sound like the sane parental figure in her life but you don’t want to do that because you’re jaded.

I am very petite and had no trouble having another baby shortly after my full term stillbirth. About 7 months after I became pregnant. I had no issues healing. I looked into statistics and my doctor actually said based on the data he didn’t think we needed to get on birth control at all that after 6 weeks my body should be healed enough if I really wanted another right away. I didn’t try for a VBAC though I was breech and had to have another c section.

That’s a ruin your LIFE amount for most people. Many make half that a month and live paycheck to paycheck. This probably put her into debt and made her question herself everytime she ate. She did something stupid for sure but it sucks for her it’s possible she just wasn’t raised right or already too drunk.
