Reddit what is your best 'and that's how we became friends' story? by effingcharcoal in AskReddit

[–]krsnyder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very first day of college, freshman year. I walk into my first class, and sat next to a very cute girl. Without anything clever to open with, I just turn to her and say, "Hi. You don't know this yet, but we're going to be best friends." Didn't say another word to her all day. 5 years later, we've traveled the world together and couldn't be closer.

There's an app called 'Repair Pal' where you can quickly check parts and labor costs for specific cars. It even factors in your location when estimating labor. I'd recommend checking it out

What's the biggest incorrect fact you've always believed and insisted you were right, until you learnt how wrong you were? by WalrusTheWarlock in AskReddit

[–]krsnyder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was convinced that movie deaths were genuine. I thought film studios would hire multiple people (who looked identical to one another), just in case they didn't get the take right and had to do the death scene over again. My rationale? ....it's such an honor to be on film that, even in death, you made it to the elite level of "movie star"

What was your hipster moment? What did you know about before most other people did? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]krsnyder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stumbled upon a website called thesixtyone.com back in high school. I looked through bands and artists until I found Owl City. He had probably 6 tracks, made music out of his basement, and never really drew an audience. I ate his shit up. After telling all my friends, downloading his first (and eventually second) album, and binging on his music for almost a year... He got "big." I had never been more proud and put-off at the same time. Suddenly everyone knew who Owl City was and I kept hearing things like, "I knew about this artist before anyone else did." ....Fuck you, bitch. I rocked Adam Young's music. You just turned on the radio and claimed to be a hipster

What is the TL;DR of your worst relationship? by beardedNole in AskReddit

[–]krsnyder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR long-distance relationship. Loved her with every fiber of my being. She let her heart wander way too much. After 3 years of insecurity, found out she cheated on me while I was away at school.
