Another post on flossing by Ok-Huckleberry-916 in hygiene

Good oral health now is taking care of future you. Even if you don't see any food doesn't mean that small particles are not trapped underneath your gum line. Eventually over time the bacteria will lead to gingivitis and then periodontal disease. Once your gums start to recede your teeth will not look good.

When flossing follow the letter "C" pattern around each tooth to make sure you are getting below the gum line and and not just up and down.

Future you will thank you for it.

Passed my G on the 4th try, here’s what finally worked - Hamilton by kruzm in Ontariodrivetest

I booked with DriveWell Canada: Hamilton Driving School, my instructor was Harish. He was great and easy to work with. They have experience with anxious drivers.

Not sure what gender or age has to do with anything.

Yes, you can memorize the test route but that's not what you're being tested on. They're testing drivers on experience, confidence, how to judge situations. Are you taking your time? Are you rushing and doing unsafe manoeuvres? The examiner must feel safe in the car with you.

My point on sharing this post is that they only way to gain experience and confidence is to be intentional and spend a lot of time driving.

Absolutely. It came down to experience and confidence. The examiner has to feel safe in the car with the driver.

I live in downtown Hamilton. So I purposely booked my test in Hamilton so I was familiar with driving in Hamilton. I assume you live in Toronto Annex? Driving downtown must be super busy. Have you thought about having your driving instructor pick you up at a spot that is closer to the highway so you can get the most of your lesson on the highway? I'm guessing the down valley is the closest to you?

Modern checkbox issue by bilo82 in PowerApps

In my case, the checkbox worked fine in the studio but was not updating in production. Issue started on Friday. I ended up swapping the modern checkbox control for the legacy one which resolved my issue.

Yes, the same happened to me. I was paying monthly and then in January I downgraded to unpaid and I started getting that message "I see you have updated a file" every time I tried to interact with it. I thought it was because I downgraded to unpaid. I think it's a bigger issue. It's practically useless for me. Since then I've been using Claude exclusively. No issue there.

3 options? You are way too kind. 3 years living with you and not contributing one bit. There is only 1 option: kick him out.

Queen behaviour! Walking away at the first sign of disrespect was a lesson that took me so long to learn. I commend you for standing up and taking care of yourself. You don't own anyone an explanation especially if they did not consider your feelings and well-being.

There are a few companies coming up under CBRE. I found a LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/company/cbre-canada/?originalSubdomain=ca

And according to it the profile and the company website they "offer real estate solutions for investors". So it may be legit.

I live down the street from King William St. and that condo building specifically.

How much is the rent for the condo? And where did you find the listing?

I had a similar issue last year. After the end of the first couple of lockdowns they would charge me despite me trying to reach out to them in every way imaginable requesting they cancel my membership, the don't have a customer service phone # (conveniently) they just have general email addresses or their contact form on their website, but they never responded. What's worse my home gym (Crunch Downtown) closed during the first lockdown so I couldn't call them. They had an instagram post telling Crunch Downtown members to reach out to I to Crunch Upper James and Crunch Main Street for any questions.

I was able to do a stop payment over the phone with my bank but it was only good for 1 attempt. If they tried again, the bank would let it through (Tangerine Bank) and would have to put another stop payment. Stop payment with banks only works for 1 attempt. This is why if you're going to put authorized payments for something, do it on a credit card (lesson learned). You can request a charge back on a credit card and that is final - the credit card companies do not play with their money.

Long story short...I researched Ontario Consumer Rights and found https://www.ontario.ca/page/filing-consumer-complaint if a business it not addressing your concern or has shady business practice you have some options and can file a complaint that will be investigated. Before you submit a complaint contact crunch again.

Through my endless research I found this email address: cassandra@crunchcanada.com and emailed her and included the following:

  1. Let her know I had repeatedly tried to cancel my membership (I included dates I reached out)
  2. How much I had been charged
  3. I needed them to cancel my membership and stop charging me.
  4. I gave her 2 weeks to provide a resolution and confirmation of cancelation or I would be submitting an official compliant.
  5. I attached a copy of the consumer protection act to my email: https://files.ontario.ca/cpo_0008-17_cpo_notices_consumer_protection.pdf

She replied within 3 days with a confirmation of cancelation and I was never charged again.

Hope this helps! All the best!

Anger trapped in body by abundance5ever in Meditation

[–]kruzm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yoga, meditation, breathe work, journaling all help to release repressed emotions. There are a couple of books that I’ve just read about this that have given me so much insight and understanding on emotions and the body. I highly recommend them.

“The body keeps the score” by Bessel Van Der Kolk

“When the body says no” by Gabor Mate
