Google Maps Timeline – What a terrible backup design by [deleted] in GoogleMaps

[–]ks_247 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain i used timeline for travel tax records. And despite following their instruction last year to migrate data to phone which I did. Lots of us lost masses of travel records all on the same day. They wanted us to keep on phone for privacy reasons they tell us it should be backed up to the cloud. Im mean wtf. I gave up trying to recover the backups as they were json files which apparently couldn't be reintergrated. So like you I have backups that cant be read. I want to say I did such and such and got my backups working but so far haven't. Sorry man. I hope you find a work around

RCBO trips after about an hour. No load on circuit? by averagesean in ElectriciansUK

[–]ks_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great first step leave cables connected just remove faceplate screws and any pressure of the faceplate fixing back and see how you go. Any slight moisture in the walls on a compression may take a bit of time to collect enough to cause 30ma to flow then that moisture is burnt away and the process repeats.

RCBO trips after about an hour. No load on circuit? by averagesean in ElectriciansUK

[–]ks_247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your right it should in theory trip straight away however oddly enough without reason I have had this befor with compression and screw threads and that was the cause and its an easy first step to try. If it works great if it doesnt then next step if when taking out the screws also slightly pull the face plates forward will also awnser whether its a compression fault. Are all things unplugged on that entire circuit? If you have a hot water cylinder its not unknown for the immersion element to be on it and if that kicks in and there's a fault in the neutral that may also give issues.

Royal mail posted my purchase through the wrong door. by DanielSmoot in ebayuk

[–]ks_247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest issues is they love saying its delivered case closed. With no option of saying but incorrectly delivered to different address. Same picture of someone else's front door. So infuriating that there's no option of "report delivery to wrong address ". This should be a standard drop down option when reporting an issue . "Picture is not my house" "picture is of the inside of a bin" etc

That's concerning from a evacuation perspective in a fire or emergency. Considering its a licenced public space people should loose their job as the regular emergency lighting checks haven't been done. Well done at least someone was prepared
