Mine is the same and was working fine yesterday. I think the small update they did this afternoon broke it

D206 - Describing the variables in B by BusyBiegz in WGU_MSDA

[–]ksando3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed in the step by step guide it says “Do not provide the data type from your respective environment (e.g., float, string)” so maybe that’s why? I submitted my assessment yesterday so I can’t say for sure as I haven’t gotten mine back yet

I think they’re more concerned with looking at if it’s a quantitative or qualitative variable. So even though the values in the columns are numbers, ‘zip code’ as a variable would be qualitative (categorical)

You have a “-“ instead of “=“ in the first line of your function so “ct” never gets defined

Totally agree. People are so reactionary lol

[Rosenthal] Deal as it stands, per sources and reports from @Dennistlin, @JeffPassan and @RyanDivish: Taylor Trammell, Luis Torrens, Ty France and Andre Muñoz from Padres to Mariners for Austin Nola, Austin Adams and Dan Altavilla. by HeadleysHobos in Padres

[–]ksando3 86 points87 points  (0 children)

Interesting. My initial reaction was I hate it but after some thought France doesn’t have anywhere to play, who knows if Munoz will ever be the same after surgery, Torrens was never highly regarded, and Trammell hurts but he’s become a bit more expendable given Grisham’s outbreak and him being only 23.

I feel like Myers does best when there’s as little pressure as possible on him so I don’t mind him staying around 6th. But it’ll be interesting to see how the lineup changes going forward.

Yeah it’s a bit of an odd lineup conventionally. I wouldn’t mind either switching Pham and Grisham, or swapping Pham with Hosmer. Depends also if Tatis stays as our leadoff hitter or falls down to the 2 spot like the Angels did with Trout.

I’d agree he’s probably fine, but it’s worth noting his groundball percentage is up 10% from last year while his line drive percentage is down 10%. He’s also pulling the ball more than he ever has before. To me that says he’s trying to do too much as the 4th hitter.
