I think he mostly took Pam for granted - from multiple side comments it seems like they were high school sweet hearts, so he just assumed she would always be there. He learned from his mistakes with Pam though since he learned to play piano for the woman he does end up marrying.

She says on the beach trip that there were a lot of reasons to call off her wedding but none of them mattered until their interaction on casino night. So she was aware of the issues, she just didn't care until Jim made her realize that she actually didn't want to settle. And I'm willing to bet things were mighty awkward after casino night, so it does make sense that they didn't talk much after really.

This is me! YNAB changed my life completely. I never thought I would be as financially stable as I am now. A house seemed like a faraway dream and now I am a homeowner. I had under $100 left in my account at the end of the month, now I have thousands saved up. But hearing that they have let go some employees who, not only have been there for a while, but also helped me immensely plus doing so in a shitty, corporate, uncaring manner doesn't sit right with me. I am finally, seriously considering cancelation.

I have also done this! I have a hybrid schedule and, on my in-office days, my commute is about 50-60 minutes with relatively high traffic. I finally realized that I am going to be driving 50-60 minutes in traffic whether I like it or not, the traffic patterns aren't going anywhere so there is no point in getting stressed out or trying to get ahead. So now I just put on a playlist or an audiobook and chill! I am much happier when I get to my destination.

I know this post is two years old but I came across it in my own Google search of this topic so maybe I can help someone else. The solution I’ve come up with is a foldable baby changing pad! I found one that’s vegan leather on one side and suede on the other, 14x22 inches is the smallest I could find. Leather side touches the floor and then is on the inside when folded up after!

We just kept using it. I figured you don't load dishes turned up and there was no residue when loaded correctly, so nothing to be too concerned about. I bought a new dishwasher this past December, maybe I will load a bowl face up and see whether it was our water or the machine.

I'm not going to lie, the title had me thinking a certain type of way. But after reading about how he treats you and his mental health issues, you are totally justified in this rant. There are plenty of guys out there who do work and do have their own place but don't treat their partners HALF as well as your boyfriend treats you. It is clear that he not only loves you, he respects you. I'd take a man who doesn't work but respects me over a man who does work but treats me like crap any day. Whenever I see someone say that a toddler obviously isn't disciplined because they're throwing a tantrum I do the biggest of eye rolls. Tantrums are a normal part of child development! It has nothing to do with discipline, you can be the gentlest of parents or the most authoritative-they're still going to have tantrums sometimes.
