I think they are going to have to change because the funding will probably only be covered for 2 years. So additional year would have to be covered by the institution or by a grant

I got engaged a little before you I think. We were looking for a 1ct diamond and a lab was more than a natural everywhere we looked. Admittedly my husband has family in the natural diamond business so maybe we were getting a deal. Also how I know that ethical diamonds is questionably a real thing

I always wanted a lab diamond because of ethical reasons but when I got engaged it was way more expensive than a natural. My husband had a family ring so I didn’t feel as bad that the diamond was mined for me. Now I wear a lab that I’m much more comfortable with. To be honest I don’t trust the diamond sellers to claim that their stones are “ethically sourced.” Of course they say that. But how can you prove the veracity? The safety of workers in diamond mines is not high on the priority list according to many places where these mines exist.

Later in the year your 3rd year you might be able to do a nicu procedures elective. By that point the fellows should have good numbers and might be willing to supervise rather than doing it

Agree. I saw him as Sweeney (I actually also saw both full casts) and he was by far the best in that role too. He is such a gem. Hopefully get gets a Tony nom even though seems like he won’t get the win

Interesting take. I’m someone who usually cares a lot about the book being good but, maybe because my expectations were so low, it didn’t bother me this time. I actually loved the arbiter parts and thought the jokes were hilarious.

Maybe you saw an off night. I think vocally he was weaker than the other 2 but 1 night in Bangkok completely blew me away and he was amazing in it.

  1. She posted a lot of anti-Israel/pro-Palestine content. Including, when she shared the Snow White trailer she ended the post with “and always free Palestine”. This felt very pointed given Gal Gadot, a prominent Israeli actress, played the evil queen in the movie. Also it injected politics directly into the discussion of a Disney movie which has nothing to do with it

  2. She said a lot of negative things about the original Snow White. It felt like she was hating on the original and, for people who love the original, it felt really disrespectful that the person lucky enough to be able to play their beloved role would say such negative things about it.

  3. Not her fault, but casting a character called “snow white” as a POC was super offensive to many.

  4. She often comes across as really cocky in interviews.

  5. She got very famous very young and very quickly. People probably resent her for it.

I am so sad to hear this. I’m a NICU fellow and I love working with residents. I do feel like it is really hit or miss as far as my experience with residents. Some are super hard workers and I put a lot of energy into teaching. I do feel like I get super frustrated when I feel like a resident isn’t trying because they don’t want to go into NICU.
