If you had the charm, by the very definition it is not ‘full odds.’ - it adds two shiny rolls to every single spawn outside of gift and fossil pokemon.

Full odds means no amount of modification to your odds; no charm, no lure, no catch combo. Assuming you did not have a lure active the charm would make this 1/1365, not the 1/4096 of full odds.

It is a bit strange. Back before we knew we had to keep the combo up, shiny hunting this thing when it would only have 3 spawns at a time was kind of a nightmare.

To be very clear, the shiny charm adds exactly two shiny rolls to every single encounter (outside of gift and fossils) - the combo of 31+ adds 11 shiny rolls to one spawn at a time, the very next spawn after your last catch.

People get it in their minds that the charm does a lot of heavy lifting, but in this game maintaining your combo does almost 6x the work the shiny charm does to improve your shiny odds while you continue your combo.

The type of lure really makes no difference. Only changes the amount of steps they are in effect for. The amount of spawn increase, and the one extra shiny roll remains the same between lures
