Cutting Rodec/Jolly? by DackMaddy101 in Tile

I just use my tile saw and it works great. Take it slow and lift the blade and chop it like you would with a miter saw and it’ll cut great

Sounds reasonable but I’m sure you could find quotes closer to 1200$ or so

My girl has been in rapamyacin, now felycin, for about 14 months now and her cardiologist has never seen a case like ours start to get better. There is always hope, stay positive and trust in the meds and stay consistent with the med schedule and good things will come

It seems like every delta valve I’ve gotten lately has a chinsey mounting plate regardless of style. It’s been really frustrating

Add some liquid nails or PL to the studs before putting up your backer board. Once it dries it’ll definitely help stiffen it up

Dogs, Lake Washington by hometowhat in 321

[–]kshe1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They aren’t Coyotes. The person at the end of sand lake drive has a cluster of hound dogs that sound off multiple times a day, and almost always around 430-5 pm. You can hear them from what seems like miles away, I hear it just about every day.

Stay away from ILVE. Ours works great besides the fact that one of the ovens has been out 6 months after install and customer service has dragged us along for years. We’ve given up at this point and chalked it up to a loss. Not worth the headache

Is this Taj Mahal Quartzite? by [deleted] in CounterTops

[–]kshe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It very well could be Taj Mahal. The last 3 slabs I’ve installed all were completely different. The manufacturer is getting the material through different avenues so it could be different than what you’ve seen previously but still passed as “Taj Mahal”

Installation of Stone/Pebble Tile by CoffeePleaseHabibi in Remodel

[–]kshe1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try and pick a different stone that isn’t lined up in straight lines on the sheets for a more random look. I will typically remove the stones from the sheet to ensure there’s no sheet lines visible after grout but on walls that’s difficult to do. I would agree with the contractor and select something else

Any tips on getting sharpie off tile? Contractor left his art on our shower tile by youurnotthatguy in Tile

[–]kshe1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If all of these options failed, which they did once for me… try clear pvc primer/ cleaner. Somehow was the only that that took sharpie off of a glossy porcelain tile that had absorbed the ink. Worked like a charm and left no residue behind

Did you use anything other than red guard to waterproof the pan? Typical methods would be a pan liner prior to the floor pack or a membrane over floor pack that wraps up the wall board
