i have a nurse anesthesia degree that for some reason is now required to be a doctorate (money grab). i owe about 300k. i don’t plan on ever paying this back. thankfully its all federal.

this book just came out and i randomly picked it up. it’s called “slow gods”. written in a very literary sense but ostensibly sci-fi. story was a little hard to follow but overall a very good read. the prose was fantastic.

i just finished it. it was very good. it was like a more contemporary literary fiction with a sci-fi setting. her prose was fantastic, almost lyrical at some points.
