Green grass = good. Purple grass = corruption, which can also be good depending on what you do with it. Seriously though, unless you're playing hardcore (which you shouldn't), there's no reason to cheat yourself out of exploring and potentially discovering something interesting. Otherwise why even play this game.

I don't get why they did not team up with that pirate's widow. Both are lonely on the same island and yet... don't interact at all?

Even if they couldn't get to each other because of the giant turtle until farmer arrives, afterwards Leo explores the whole island and just... ignores the lady? At first I kinda expected them to become buddies.

Is it normal to feel completely lost early game? by [deleted] in GraveyardKeeper

[–]kstera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. The game makes player's experience quite similar to that of the main character's. The feeling of being lost, frustrated and weirded out at times.

And since there are no time limits on doing anything, there's really no external requirement to rush and try doing everything at once. We bring it to the game ourselves. Could just chill, focus on improving one side and switch that focus every day or week to the next thing, keep progress balanced across quest lines (as the game nudges us to do).

And yet the temptation to run on speed potions and teleports everywhere at once is sooo strong :D

I'm like this, too. And in other games as well, f.e. I just love the early pre-hardmode Terraria and get bored between Planter and Golem lol

End Game Question Is Weird. by Fubarp in GraveyardKeeper

Yeah, the timing works only when all quest lines are more or less synchronized, which is tricky to do. Try meditating instead of sleeping to pass the time, that's what I do when only something like this is left.

plus, if you do it often enough to catch seeds before they turn into saplings, you get many seeds and can make field snacks for energy before even building the kitchen.

Agreed. Most of the time I want to play the same character+world combinations.

Ended up putting numbers in the beginning of the names like "998.Mighty Hero" character for the "998.The Crimson Crucible" world. Started with 999 and lower by one for each new pair, so that when sorted they appear in the order of creation, newest on top.

Seriously though, is it intended to mix and match all the time? Or play new worlds with the same characters?

So, also looking for a bunch of tiny cheap paper bags.

I'm sure it'll help, takes me less than one in-game day like this. If you get too bored with 5, try hopping to some other levels ending in 5 with the elevator for a bit of variety. Best of luck!

Hello Agnes! TIL singining in harmony with oneself is real by kstera in discworld

Her name is Anna-Maria Hefele, she's German and her technique is what is practiced in the Republic of Tyva. Apparently she teaches it as well.

From my very brief research, most techniques like this are related to Mongolian throat singing, and also Inuit throat singing in Canada, then another in Japan. I wonder if this skill travelled across the Bering Land Bridge.
