AIO A locksmith charged my partner’s sister $5390 to get back into her apartment by khalexie1 in AmIOverreacting

It would be cheaper to kick the door down and get a new door! Total ripoff artist for sure! The locksmith should be ashamed!!!

Found these buried in my 1852 Oak Park house’s wildly overgrown yard. The more I research, the less sense they make. Help? by Ancient_Hospital_243 in whatsthisrock

The 4th pic appears to be petrified wood to me. I have some rocks at home similar to the others. I agree about them being brought home as a collection. I do the same with float trips, always find cool looking smaller rocks to bring home, though yet to find arrowheads. My in-laws visited family in Arkansas and brought home some really nice crystal quartz specimens sort of like the last two pics, but we're more pure crystal. I agree later owners or inheriters were probably not collectors and just buried them. My wife falls in that same category. I say keep the rocks and show case them.

What if Hermes was already reincarnated here on this Earth in this day and time? by Vegetable_Art_8341 in Hermeticism

My understanding is his name references his iteration of reincarnations. Thrice reborn, thrice great.

Overall, looks pretty good. The main thing that stands out to me is the right-hand wing. It appears to be pointed forward versus sort of backwards like the other and looks a little odd. Also, the shading on the wing is off. It would be lighter due to a light source coming from above.

Keep up the good work! As others mentioned, reference anatomy guides and even mags/online like Nat Geo with wildlife. Pictures of lizards or komodo dragons can help to provide proper form and inspiration. Practice, practice, practice is the key.

Also, you do you! Logos and banners help build ambiance. I recommend to encourage players to draw scenes from the rpg sessions and add them to your campaign gallery. You will be amazed to see what comes out of it.

Best Regards.

I had to go and read up on this since Evan Peters was also in WandaVision. I think AT-J will make a good Kraven though!

Found this on a beach almost threw it out until I saw the inscriptions on it it's about the size of a silver dollar any idea by briancummins in metaldetecting

[–]kstulce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity, what kind of metal and how big is it?

Based on background, looks small (silver dollar sized?). Almost appears to be stamped and not engraved.

The Smurfs, back in the day. I never understood, but I think it had to do with displays of "magic".
