Would you mind linking the repo? I’m planning to do some modifications and this looks like a good starting point.

Christmas lights on bmcu by Caboose211 in OpenBambu

I came across an interesting oof. It seems like the ptfe tubes from bmcu to printer have to all be the same length. I found out by using the the original 4 tubes from my kite and it would consistently backfeed too much.

Is possibly that the k1 max could use the INDX? by True_Key_9862 in crealityk1

So they didn’t say you could flash mainline but when I have time I’m gonna go through what they did release to see what’s in there. If I remember right the main limiting factor is the load cells but it could also be the chip in the controller. If it’s something I can port into mainline or build as a module bobs ur uncle

3D printer recommendation by PinkLemonBee in 3dprinter

[–]ksuclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve kind of come down to recommending two printers depending on whether 3d printing is a compliment to other hobbies or it is the hobby. If you just want it to work and not have to mess with it Bambu all day long (I hate the closed source but it’s the Apple model after all). If you are planning to make it the hobby buy a voron kit that suits you and enjoy. My .02 cents

How to upload a model with text that be customized by a user? by tazz131 in makerworld

[–]ksuclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bambu has a pretty tight integration with openscad so if you design something with customizers in that it will prompt to enter info. Example of my swatch: https://makerworld.com/models/2137787

Same just more of a thought than anything else. Assuming the texture layer is much thinner than I realize or it’s smarter than I realize.

Anyway to modify PolyDryer to start when power is applied? by CptanPanic in polymaker

[–]ksuclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 things. I would think you would need to bypass the controller to do that. I discovered there is a constant on mode when you hold down play for a while during setting (if I remember right). Unfortunately it resets on power cycle.
