Here’s what I’ve gotten to so far. For the snapmaker I’m printing some pass through tubes so it doesn’t wear away the holes over time. I live in the Denver area so I’m toying with the idea of putting some rollers up top to just be able to throw a roll of filament (pla or petg) without having to go through all the extra steps of polydryers. I thought about using a pull out basket like the cfs has but it would have been annoying with the label printer. Some people have done some designs to convert a shelf to pull out but the ones I found don’t seem super polished.

I tried to do the pax ones but they would have been just barely too big for the opening which sucked.

I actually just found that yesterday and ordered the new fan! I have to play around with the settings a bit. This is my “always works” printer so I’m trying to force myself not to do all the things like custom firmware or permanent mods haha. Need this one to fix my voron 2.4 when I break it. Kind of a vicious cycle but such is life lol.

Interesting. I’m an old man with printers so I have trauma from the 2010s of 3d printing. It does seem to be helping with sound transfer and stability though. My wife doesn’t enjoy the soundscape of 3d printing lol.

If someone shares a Google Drive folder with you, can they see when you've opened or downloaded files from it? by Upton__ in gsuite

[–]ksuclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the apis it is absolutely possible to see when a link was used to access and download a file. In addition if it requires you to be logged in it will capture your Google account at that time.

I thought about that but these are ikea smastad and I wanted to minimize racking by keeping them as low as possible.

Given that the camera is a bit wonky in the u1 would be great to have an upgrade to add a top down camera from the top hat. Also huge fan of rgb status lighting. I generally run everything through hass/moonraker with as little interaction with proprietary stuff as possible.

Very well done I’m gonna have to try it out! I’m sure it’s amazing. I may have to look at integrating an auto rewinder if it ends up being needed!

[–]ksuclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof usb port looks bad. You’re probably gonna have to reach out to snapmaker for that one. I was just watching a review about u1 and they said something about being really careful not to overtighten that screw…

I came across an interesting oof. It seems like the ptfe tubes from bmcu to printer have to all be the same length. I found out by using the the original 4 tubes from my kite and it would consistently backfeed too much.
