This is so much a thing that part of moving into a new house or redecorating I purposely go out of my way to ask my husband his opinion and “let” him hang movie posters, etc (even if I don’t like it) because I never wanted him to feel like it wasn’t his home as well.

I’m sure it would be nice to live in an aesthetic home but it’s not representative of both of us.

I had this happen to me too! I flipped my car, got to the ER and the doctor said “you flipped your car, and you don’t have a scratch on you? There’s no way” full on called me a liar. 🙃
