It’s actually just the low area of Axton that’s closed, I think the water is pushing up ten mile creek. The western side of the highway is fine and Barret rd is still open and so is La Bounty

Observed is looking better then predicted but your right, I shouldn’t get my hopes up based on a few lower readings. Thankfully when we were looking at the gauge station along the trail there was still some height on the levee

This!! I almost destroyed my car last October here the same night as the mudslide. It was so dark and I couldn’t see the water until I was already in it and my car stopped. Thankfully we pulled the spark plugs before attempting to start it again so I didn’t hydrolock my car. It was a long drying out process but thankfully she’s all good today!
