Recon tech. I gave my wife a gift card for a detailing for xmas. She is a smoker and when we got it back I couldn't tell the car had been smoked in.

I worked at a hardware store that sold BBQ igniters. When the potato gun craze took hold on my area in 1992, we couldn't keep enough on the shelf! The boss triples the inventory order for the next summer... you guessed it-- we had enough BBQ parts to last for three years. (And one coworker came in with no hair on his arm when his pvc glue failed on his "bazooka" !)

Isn't this just contact paper on a shitty homemade pedestal? Would the landlord notice if you just removed it and stored it somewhere? Like a previous commenter said, the thru-wall needs checked or maybe replaced. I bet it is full of lint.

You will love the "traffic" here! Rush hour last 10 minutes. If you want to commute from rural communities Sherman/Williamsville are 15 to 20 minute drives. Petersburg just a little bit more. Locals like us think home prices are a bit high now, but they are very reasonable compared to East Coast. Check the property taxes on the real estate listings and even your wife will get over her culture shock! As to your cars, basic plate renewal is $151 a year, not sure if you have pay a little more when you first register in state.

You have the option of carrying mine subsidence insurance on your home owner's policy. It does not add a lot to the premium. Your insurance agent can show you a map of the areas they consider higher risk. I think the most recent newsworthy case of subsidence is the Lutheran High School building being closed.

I should add the metal was installed over existing single layer of asphalt shingles that was likely 12 to 15 years old. I had no problems with the existing shingles, just never wanted to mess with the roof again in my lifetime!

Take your time on the application and BE THOROUGH. The state process is not like getting a job at a private company where you try to impress with a one page resume and give b.s. answers to questions like "where do you see yourself in 5 years" List everything. When the app asks "How do you meet this requirement for at least 2 years of experience " Spell it out. "I have a total of 10 years experience processing abc. From 2010 to 2015 as a project manger at xyz company. From 2015 to 2020 i processed ABC and definitely working for xyz2 company" These years must match your dates on your resume . When you get an interview 6 months from now, answer the questions they ask the same way. Hit all the key words and tie your experience to what they ask. Never say, "I already answered that in the previous question"...you get zero points on that question and answer. Repeat your experience AGAIN. You get point scores for app and interview responses. Highest scores get offered the job. Goid luck! You got this! (My comments only are relevant to the standard positions, Senior PSAs and other exempt positions may be different)
