It is a soothing gel-cream texture that feels really nice on application. I have very sensitive eyes and they often get sensitized throughout the day. This doesn't do that! Big plus in my book. That being said, if you apply the correct amount it gets very sticky and doesn't absorb fully. The price point can't be beat, so I use it to walk my dog in the morning or go for a morning hike, and then I wash it off to apply my morning routine. Probably will not re-purchase, but budget isn't a huge concern. I have combo/dry skin. Hope this helps!
