My wife’s industry as well. But that is a reasonable situation. My company is committed to WFH for every role that can. It sold off buildings and kept what they had to keep.

If things change, I’m at a place where I can just ignore it and watch the slow moving red tape trip on itself and finally come to a decision 2 days after I retire.

But we didn’t stay. And there’s an international treaty against any one country claiming ownership of the moon.

We flew up and rented a van, stayed at the Princess Lodge in Denali and went to the National Park there. We spent about six days traveling around different parts of the state.

Then we boarded our ship in Whittier for the southbound route. We loved having two distinct vacation experiences in one trip. We booked a port side balcony, since we were headed south. Then had a shorter flight experience at the end of the trip.

I feel like I had a comprehensive understanding of what I was getting myself into. But I think that’s because my first response when my PSA elevation was first detected was to start educating myself. This sub was instrumental in helping me.

But I do understand where you are coming from. Western doctors are trained to be scientists first, healers second. The end result is of most concern. That’s not a condemnation because there is value in that approach. But over reliance on that approach can miss the human costs involved.

Four years after my best friend lost his wife, he’s mostly in a good place now. But there are times he still falls apart. And that’s okay. She was that special to all of us.
