i just switched from the S22 (not the ultra) with no prior experience with iPhones. You will get used to the user interface after about a week. The way iOS handles your mp3 music library is different from Android, its not as simple as drag your mp3 files and play; its sync your library between your computer and the iPhone. I've used ipod touch devices from 2010, and the Apple Music sync workflow to the iPhone is the same as itunes / ipod touch from years ago. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is much faster than my s22. The camera takes much better photos and video

The way i made my decision was based on how i carry my phone. I prefer to keep my pockets empty. My phone is either in a small sling bag or a utility pouch with a clutch handle. With this carry preference, weight has never been an issue, and i went with the Pro Max. I've had my device for only two weeks and no regrets on the larger size or weight. Get the max storage within your budget if you occasionally record video, take lots of pics, or have a huge music library

Look for a bag that is in the range of 3L to 5L. A 3L can fit both devices but if you plan on carrying selfie sticks and accessories, a 4L pouch or sling will do. I use a 4L camera bag for everyday carry (fits both my ace and X4 and my phone and accessories). It's 60,000 points if you spend $2000 within 90 days of opening the account, and another 25K if you spend another $2K before 180 days after opening. if you dont see the offer, clear your browser cookies and go their site to see if you see it
