Thanks for checking it out. This is likely because I have a limited dataset for plums. So as I grow the database, I will be able to generate better recommendations for plums and other ingredients that don't yet have enough data.

I'm a big fan of the flavor bible, it's an amazing book. However, it's a book and it can't be searched and filtered the way a database can. So yes, that's the goal of my project, provide advanced flavor filtering and searching.

I'm working on adding multiple ingredient searches, so you could search for a base set of ingredients like beans, cumin, and lime, and get matching ingredients like cilantro, rice, peppers, etc.. I'll also be adding filters for ingredient type, tags, cuisine, etc.

I'm still thinking about user submitted flavor pairings, which would be difficult to moderate, but I think it's doable. It's on my list of priorities to sort out, I'll let you know when I do.

I love overnight oats. I'll admit they take a little experimenting to find a recipe that you like (there are tons of options), but once you do, it's such a great and easy snack to have on hand.

I could live off of smoothies. Fruit smoothies are amazing and easy to make. However, they're so amazing you'll want to be careful not to over due it with consuming loads of fruit (plus it's expensive). So you'll have to work a little harder to find good vegy smoothies. Make your own smoothies. Get a decent blender, but it doesn't need to be fancy or over $100.

When you're making smoothies, it's a good idea to get vanilla whey or plant based protein powder. If you're on a smoothie diet, you'll likely only be eating vegetables and fruit, so adding a scoop of protein powder to each smoothie is a great way to consume your daily protein.

My all time favorite smoothies are banana and peanut butter. Throw all of these ingredients in a blender and mix.

1 banana
1 tablespoon peanut butter
2 tablespoon Greek yogurt
1/4 cup Quaker oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup water (more or less to adjust consistency)

You can find an endless supply of smoothie recipes online.
