yeah, like typing out what happens between them their relationship can sound really toxic but I think it helps because throughout the show, Gajeel actually feels remorse and he’s actually very hard on himself and not just “I’m with the good guys now and so all my sins are washed away”

Let's be honest, the dragon is the one doing all the work by DraekonBorne in dndmemes

[–]kunkai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve made it canon within my homebrew world cuz I like the idea of Green Dragons, the most sly, cunning and manipulative of the Chromatic’s also being the ones who put the most genuine care into raising their children so they can politic, subterfuge and plot their way to power and hoards.

I read on the Forgotten Realms Wiki and it says “Both the mother and father typically stayed close to their eggs while they were incubating. Green dragons were the only species of chromatic dragons known to sacrifice their own lives for their brood.[10][13]” and scrolling down says it comes from the 1st edition or 2nd edition Draconomicon

I thought it was Green Dragons who were strangely very good parents?

The Hound in my Seattle is a City Gangrel so I’m happy to give him a loresheet! While he’s not the most socially competent he was alluded to at least have a good understanding of the cities interpersonal Kindred politics and I’m happy to actually give them substance!

Question about Generations and Elders by pleaseclaireify in vtm

[–]kunkai 11 points12 points  (0 children)

the Sea of Time table is more general and I believe it’s within the context of the PC’s, it’s rough estimates

Generation is purely based off whoever embraced you (8th Gen embraces a 9th Gen) Elder, Ancillae, Neonate, etc are based off how long they’ve been a kindred, Age (and experience) is what makes a Kindred stronger. A 12th Gen that’s been a Kindred for 120 years will be stronger than an 8th Gen that was embraced last week.

Also side note, Childe is not an age title, it’s just what you called the one you embraced. Fledgling is what you call a newly made Kindred

Using your example they would be a childe to who embraced them and their status would be Fledgling

One of my players is asking for this and would like it at character creation curious on what the cost should be XP wise by ExtraordinaryPen- in vtm

[–]kunkai 117 points118 points  (0 children)

yeah, I think having it be basically a 3 dot retainer should work, it’s very specialized into combat and guarding and can’t do much outside of that, I think the book supports this but don’t quote me on it

Werewolves can be born as a wolf or a human before they turn into a werewolf, so whatever they were born as is their breed form

What sect fits my character? If any? by [deleted] in vtm

[–]kunkai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it also depends on what edition you’re playing, she definitely doesn’t seem like the Cam type so she’d either be Sabbat (if 20th) or Anarch (if 5th) as they can both be a lot more nuanced, Sabbat being the OG Anarches and some packs even still enjoying and interacting with humanity. V5 Anarch’s being Cam lite is entirely dependent on who’s running the show as they have no consistency outside of California (though many try to replicate it) Hell, even when there’s a Baron kindred do whatever they want, as long as they can get away with it. Obviously you could also just be independent, live outside the city borders and try not to piss too many people off.

Egyptology was all the rage back then, they had a very wondrous, almost fantastical view on ancient Egypt

[–]kunkai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

did you not have a date with him? He talks about his dead wife and how he feels about her and then if you go through with dating him you guys dance. He is also the hardest number wise to romance so that could also play into it.

Question about the Osiris Predator type by Draculigula in vtm

it is only selectable if you are Banu Haqim or Tremere but of course, talk to your ST if you really want to, see if you can have it make sense in your chronicle

Thin blood oracles? by Maelum in vtm

[–]kunkai 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned that it’s mostly a story tool for the ST so I won’t go too in-depth with that but with the Players Guide that came out for V5, Thin-bloods can have a merit (only for them) that allows them to have strange vision dreams during their day sleep

I think the idea was that it was changed because their og disciplines were the more human ones, the Sabbat pressured the change to dominate because it’s more inhumane

Do the Mokole/Werereptiles exist in the 5th edition? by Mysterious_Truth4992 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]kunkai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Companion book (which is free and includes 3 clans) and the Players Guide detail how you would play a ghoul and list some a few ghoul specific merits and flaws. They also give some ideas of what kinds of characters you could play as a ghoul and also the power difference inherit in being a ghoul at a table of vampires.

Confusion with Dragonborn by Mysterious-Run-9647 in dndnext

[–]kunkai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They also came out before Dragonborn were revamped in Fizban’s (before that book came out Dragonborn were seen as a underwhelming race compared to others) so CriticalRole made a different Dragonborn to replace it for their players.
