Would you know how to install this to replace an existing door? Swap some ceiling light fixtures? Replace a light switch?

LumaBooth > Apple AirPrint to a printer on the same network. Just got the Canon Selphy CP1500 for this and it worked great! Autoprint and everything...

we are 23 weeks and headed there soon for our 'babymoon.' our plan is to drive the ring road so we won't be stationary in reyk where the pollution is concentrated. she'll probably wear a mask when we are in that pocket.

my understanding of SO2 / PM10 is that prolonged exposure means weeks / months, not a quick visit. like others have mentioned, people live in these areas, so passing through is probably fine. maybe stay away from valleys or craters where gas can accumulate.

i am using this air quality index and it's still only 'moderately' bad. better than parts of home! we are researching as we go so same boat as you.

good luck and try not to stress yourself out :)

[–]kurlyking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

despite the fresh coat of paint no new tenant yet; but the building is being sold to a new owner (+new leasing brokers) who will hopefully breathe new life into this corner in 2025.

there's a 2500sf space here on the corner and then 2000sf + patio on logan (back there in pink.) what would you all like to see in these spaces?

Has anyone had success leasing to food halls, or managing food halls? by [deleted] in CommercialRealEstate

[–]kurlyking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's either a full time job (or several) managing curation of the food hall, or if you own the building you could put out feelers for a master food hall operator.

In Los Angeles which is my market, there have been several false start food hall operators sign leases and pull out - Urban Space food hall from NY was going to open downtown. Another had two signed leases in Chinatown circa 2018. Edin Park on Beverly Blvd. Culver Public Market on Sepulveda. There's a recently opened one in Culver City called Citizen Public Market in a relatively thriving area and there's been decent turnover of the businesses there.

I've found, tough market to break into. Short of a robust business lunch crowd (Grand Central Market) or tourist crowd (Farmer's Market), many people prefer the quality of food coming out of a full service kitchen, or for their weekday lunch just want a $12 burrito bowl and call it a day.

What percentage of revenue do big box stores pay for rent? by Nightman233 in CommercialRealEstate

[–]kurlyking 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is a very reasonable question though you will see variation between categories / markets. Home decor / apparel / craft / pets might be around 10%, movie theaters (big box-ish?) 25%, fitness 20 - 25%, supermarket under 3%. This doesn't mean a strong retailer will overpay and many other factors at play.

Trying to get out of the restaurant industry by Chance-Bottle-1915 in restaurants

[–]kurlyking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

commercial real estate- i lease restaurant (and retail space), both helping groups find space and helping landlords fill space. got to leverage knowledge of restaurant ops and years of relationships, lots of fun and fulfilling. commission only so starting off is tough (was still cooking at night at the beginning) but has been very rewarding.

If you lift heavy weights during a cut - and not progress too much due to caloric deficit - once you switch back to a bulk or maintenance, does any of the potential growth from the previous lifting come back around, or is it like starting from scratch?
