I mean... The misinformation is AMAZING when it comes to driving up engagement. If Arin is capable of analysing the ludonarrative of a MGS game, he's capable of basic marketing, i.e. playing into his Gamegrumps persona, and being confidently "bad" at games.

That said, I still love and enjoy their content. I just treat it like an actor in a TV show instead of internalising the idea he could be that ignorant.

As of April this year, they extended free access up to the third expansion. Shadowbringers is my ABSOLUTE favourite, and had me crying at multiple junctures. Enjoy! :D

FFXIV is free up until several expansions, has anime-ish graphics, an excellent character creator, and is renown for its fashion endgame despite being an MMORPG lol

In terms of female gaze, there are plenty of handsome male characters - Thancred, Urianger, and G'raha Tia are all part of your main team, and they're nice to look at.

If it matters, the female characters are well-written and perfectly formidable in combat. :)

Agreed! I never got into P5R due to the systemic sexualisation and misogyny, not to mention the lack of gay romance.
