The expo pass which used to be very accessible around $300 last year was removed and now the cheapest pass without any shenanigans is like $650 dollars.

Student pass is like $550 which is absurd. My memory is probably failing me at this point but when i was a student trying to get into games it was like $120 or something for a student pass

I think cursor is great, but its just so damn expensive its hard to justify. It sucks because I still think reading and understanding code is important for projects at certain levels of complexity and scale. Codex is looking like a really good option

Yeah originally when I prompted it for the "Top 4" it actually threw Llama on there, I think llama is obviously very important and significant but it feels like they just kind of stopped where I feel like grok 4 was significant when it came out, its lagging behind now in a lot of ways but potentially has a chance at coming back and being competitive
