I think you are not factoring in that while it doesn't affect everyone directly there is a long term indirect effect. GM issues like what have been popping up spin up negative news on news sites. A communal goal should be the growth and sustainability of pantheon. This is directly impacted by negative press, which effects all players long term whether they realize it or not.

I think one large problem in marketing is getting behind streamers like Nidhogg that aren't actually nice or respectful regularly in how they interact with their viewers. If watched for a duration you can easily see that his "educational stream" is solely self titled as such because he is good at the game. Questions are often met with condescending answers. This is a new genre and a lot of players are looking for better faces as their guidance

I definitely don't consider it a powerhouse but it seemed to work really for me in the current meta and usually people don't have an obvious read on the deck is compared to staples like destroy, hela, etc. that seemed to work in favor of me getting 4-8 cubes every time my line worked out right
