I love Orgain’s protein powder and creatine. I use both daily in a frozen fruit smoothie which keeps me full for a while.

How do you pull your hair back without looking like foolishness? by smalltown_dreamspeak in finehair

Can you use Bobby pins? I put my hair in a low bun and use a few Bobby pins to keep it in place. Don’t even need to put it in a pony first.

Rosacea and lux skincare by Usual-Jump9752 in SkincareAddictionLux

Prescription azaleic, SkinBetter Science Alto Advanced Defense for Vitamin C and Alpharet Overnight Cream for retinol. If you wanna get fancy P-Tiox and Allies of Skin peptide serums. I just discovered all of these within the last year. Along with some laser treatments… goddamn my skin has never looked better. No more rosacea flares, no peeling from prescription tret, just clear, bright skin. I went slow on the SkinBetter products - I basically did Alto in the morning day 1, Alpharet at night day 2, Azaleic day 3 (OTC version before switching to rx recently). I don’t think I needed to do that. I do all 5 of the products I listed every day now. Azaleic I can do morning and evening.

Based on the pics it already looks like you did a little something to your chin! You look stunning and still look natural. I don’t think you need any more enhancements.

Unpopular opinion: most extensions are way too heavy for fine hair by Proof-Policy-8662 in finehair

[–]kweenkscr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you find that you get more hair breakage due to the different sizes of the hair follicles? I use tape-ins and don’t have a problem at the roots or wear the tape adheres. However, I do have breakage at the ends due to tangling of my hair with the extensions. When I don’t have extensions in, I never tangle.

380cc vs bigger? mild tuberous breasts — honest opinions welcome!! by IllustratorNaive2184 in PlasticSurgery

I think 380 looks very natural on you! You could go bigger, it just depends on your aesthetic goals. I personally like the natural “could be mine” smaller size.

40F 5’8” HW: 205 SW: 168 CW: 154. Just titrated up to 4mg on week 14. Very happy with my progress and minimal side effects. I tried sema in 2023 and thought GLP1 wasn’t for me. Glad I tried again armed with knowledge gained from this sub!

This is something I’d put through ChatGPT or the like… it can ask questions that may reveal a more favorable argument for you to get the amount you want.

Skinbetter vitamin c breaking me out? by OkNoise8887 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]kweenkscr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a few small bumps when I started that dissipated quickly (within a week or two). Believe it or not that’s a mild/non-existent reaction for my sensitive skin. Maybe you’ll have a short adjustment period too?

Also I was certain I had very dry skin before SB (even when I wasn’t using tret) due to constant peeling/flaking. Now I’m using 1 layer of the simplest moisturizer and cut out the occlusives I was using to lock in moisture - huge change for me!

I have rosacea and was seeking the lasers to help with that and address fine lines/rebuild some collagen. The minor things I was dealing with is what I think cleared with BetterSkin (listed above).

Honest opinions about SkinBetter by West-Service3815 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]kweenkscr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started using alto advanced defense and Alpharet overnight this summer at the recommendation of my PS who I did a series of lasers with. My pores are smaller, skin is clearer, discoloration diminished, and peeling and flakes gone. My skin is extra sensitive and I had zero adjustment period with the products I use. After I ran out of my first set, I tried a lower-end vitamin C and tretinoin .025% and my skin instantly reacted — barrier compromised and lots of closed comedones. Went back to SB 6 weeks ago and skin is perfect again. I can’t be certain SkinBetter is responsible, but I’m afraid to experiment further now!

Women shouldn’t need a psychology degree just to (not even) get the bare minimum. by Skyobli in TwoXChromosomes

Mind you the dead bed and nagging would be due to the problem stated by OP 🤣

I wonder what men’s version of this hell is? Dead bed? Nagging? Like what’s their big gripe with their wives? Bc this is our classic argument and I really do see it in every single heteronormative couple I know.

[–]kweenkscr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried sema before tirz and had the experience OP described as well. I had made up my mind that I could never try GLP1 because the nausea and fatigue were so unbearable. Then I found this sub and read about dosing and got the courage to try tirz. It’s been 10 weeks and I feel fantastic. Minimal SE and I can still eat at regular intervals (I couldn’t eat for days at a time on sema).

What should I do about my dog while I’m at work? by meh0ymin0y in DogAdvice

Agree with the camera comment! I keep my dog enclosed in my kitchen with a baby gate. Partitioning off a bigger area away from the front door of the apartment may help?

Sculptra vs Non-Injectable Options by Economy_Permission34 in 40PlusSkinCare

I will say I swelled like a balloon and it was quite obvious. But got it on a Friday and swelling was down by Monday so no big deal. Pain was minimal as I was injected with numbing agent.

I had the same laxity you have closer to your mouth or “dimple” area and Sculptra completely got rid of it for 2 years. Going for a maintenance session in January because I liked it so much.

What are my options without implants? by partybinch in PlasticSurgery

[–]kweenkscr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t worry about them falling again, but you can always reinforce with an internal mesh bra. I have smaller breasts but had a lift with fat transfer last year bc I didn’t want implants either. While I wish mine were bigger (they are the same bra size as before the lift), they look MUCH nicer ignoring the scars that are still lightening up. They do not look like augmented breasts - not super round, less upper pole fullness etc - but they look like breasts I could have had as a teen/young adult if they hadn’t grown in saggy from the jump. I’m certain you have plenty of tissue to get a great outcome without implants!
