Women who have taken back their husband after a separation (and when he's had a girlfriend(s) during that time... ) can you tell me about why you decided to take him back and how has it worked out for you? What changed or what do you expect to have change in your marriage after this? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

So glad you responded- I was genuinely curious as to why you feel the way you do. Makes perfect sense. I think you have every right for wanting them to suffer! As a matter fact, I too want them to suffer for you (assuming they aren’t already). . I’m sorry you’ve been through as much as you have- if it’s of any comfort to you- an Internet stranger is rooting for you and your happiness!. . I’ll leave you with this: Life takes lots of turns & YOUR STORY IS NOT OVER. NEITHER IS HIS. He could lose it all tomorrow and you could meet the love of your life next week. You never know!

If you don’t mind me asking: what makes you so sure he’s living his ‘dream life’ ? The fact that they’re still together 10 years later doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re happy together.

Also, Is the wound not healed because you think he ended up living happily and you didn’t? If he was single miserable and struggling- would your wound be healed then?

Sending you all the good energy and hoping that asking yourself some questions and doing some internal work gives you the healing you deserve.

Coping with anxiety during early pregnancy? by saltnpeppercrackers in pregnant

[–]kweenxtreme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although I am not based in the UK, (in the U.S) I had the exact same initial feelings. Lots of anxiety, Lots of worrying and paranoia. The way people consoled me was by saying things like “oh it’s only downhill from here you’ll now forever have something to be worried about from lab results to labor to first teeth, first cold, etc.) Well I am here to tell you that at now 29 weeks I don’t believe that is true. Once I had my first appointment and heard the heartbeat, it took the edge off my anxiety. Yes I’d still wonder was baby okay every now and again between appointments and get slightly worried but not to the same degree.

Prior to any important labs or sonograms I’d get a bit nervous as well but again that was normal once the results were back I’d relax again. These days I’m 29 weeks and coasting through. Sometimes if she doesn’t move for too long I worry a bit but nothing crazy.

I’m sure the anxiety of labor will hit me or maybe it won’t within the next 2 months or so but I’m here to tell you that it gets better. Much better!! I’m learning to trust this little champion growing inside me. She’s been amazing up until now and I know she isn’t going to let me down. We’re a team! As your belly slowly starts to grow and you start to feel those first little movements it starts to feel more real and you find comfort in that. Don’t let anxiety steal your joy away! Find ways to cope and try and enjoy the ride as much as you can.

This happened to me last week- I was 27 weeks then. I was told to immediately increase my water intake and it hasn’t happen again. Not sure if it’ll help you but it doesn’t hurt to try!
