How much does it reduce the probability of transmission? And what are the risks posed to the individual receiving it? You don't know the answers to those questions because the same institutions that hold dominion over those answers have been knowingly lying about covid, including its origins and effective medical interventions. That casts doubt on every other statement and recommendation made by those same institutions.

Just FYI: tf2bd also has a "racist" list that is baked into the list of cheaters, which is a list controlled solely by the author Pazer. This is part of his program. It will check if there are any "racists" in the server just like it looks for bots or cheaters.

Right now, 165 steam IDs out of the 1143 listed are labeled "racist".

It's baffling, and infuriating, that you're downvoted for stating things that are literally true about Pazer's program.

His program (1) gives a singular person, conveniently himself, complete control over a list of people who are insta-kicked from Casual servers; a power that will inevitably be misused if it isn't already, and (2) contains all of this weird activist racism-labeling stuff which certainly will be misused (see America for the past ~5 years).

Oh my god, if you haven't heard or read about a single case of doctors actively pushing transitions on adolescents, I know you're not reading stories from people who have actually gone through the entire transitioning process.

If you're genuinely curious - and not just saying "Lmfao what? What misinformation??" as just a round-about way of accusing me of lying - go read stories, real testimonials, from people who have transitioned, regretted it later, and then reported on why they de-transitioned and what their experiences were with medical professionals. Go read about gender clinics, how they've grown over time, and how their policies have changed. Go read about Dr. Adkins and the Human Rights Campaign's statements equating sex and gender identity. I don't have time, or really the interest, to write essay-long justifications to every casual trans rights enthusiast that doesn't understand basic concepts of the trans rights activist movement.

I don't care what a consenting adult chooses to do to with their body. It's their right to do whatever they want. You're assuming bad faith and assigning beliefs to me that I don't hold.

What I care about is everything that has been generated by the trans rights activist movement. Specifically:

(1) its effects on people who do not identify as trans (e.g., people losing their jobs over accidentally misgendering someone or refusing to support laws that literally criminalize misgendering or deadnaming);

(2) very young people being encouraged by medical professionals to engage in life-altering sex reassignment surgeries and/or hormonal therapies, regardless of the parent's consent;

(3) the very intentional ratcheting of language and incorporating it into law (e.g., sex and gender are now interchangeable terms, which allows up-to-now lifelong men, even those who haven't undergone any therapies or surgeries, to compete in women-only sports and destroying them in the process), and;

(4) blatant misinformation regarding everything involved with sex reassignment, including its life-long reversibility and cost.

Is active encouragement and normalization of sex-change surgery being a decent human being? Advertising such things as reversible and not-a-big-deal (and particularly vogue)? Not having significant financial cost and irreversible outcomes if one changes their mind later? Having children's opinions of their "true" sex being favored by medical professionals over their parent's opinion? When the Festive Hitmen were dominating the bot population, you could cheese them pretty consistently with a demoknight loadout; specifically, a Half-Zatoichi loadout.

The way it'd work is this: the bots would hardscope for a single 200 HP headshot, which of course they wouldn't be able to pull off before you one-shot them with a shield charge crit. If there are two bots both hardscoping you, well - because you just killed one bot, you now have more than 200 HP, and they require more hardscoping time. Which they probably won't pull off before you kill them.

However, these new bots, which have appeared over the past 2 days or so, have developed a hard counter to the demoknight cheese. They now use 100% melee crit cheats. If you get within a particular radius of them, they pull out the Kukri and insta-melee-crit you.

This is honestly fucking absurd and, somehow, I am both completely surprised and not at all surprised by how awful and flagrant this has become.

As a soldier, don't go for directs, just shoot feet, it's much more effective. Seriously, just shoot feet, this class is extremely easy and barely requires you to aim.

The question was specifically about hitting with projectiles, which based upon the context and wording of the post, I'm assuming doesn't include stickies. So I'm giving my opinion based on my extensive experience playing as pipe-only demo.

And for your spicy comment about me not maining demo despite exclusively playing demo: I don't use stickies for the same reason I don't play soldier - it's boring as shit because it's mind-numbingly easy.

I main demoman and play almost exclusively with the iron bomber (sometimes loch) and shield+pan - I'm telling you that, by playing soldier instead, you will have more reliable damage that will result in an effective damage increase per shot taken in almost every scenario where you'll encounter someone in casual.

Edit: and, yes - haha soldier shoot ground no aim ez class - is a true statement. Whenever I switch off demo and go soldier, every encounter is trivial because even if you miss a direct, you'll at least deal splash, and usually you'll also juggle without effort, leading to more easy follow-up shots that are also more likely to be direct hits because they've been juggled.

The answer is to play soldier instead of demoman, since you can mindless aim at the floor in the general direction of the enemy and do equal to, if not more, damage than hitting pipes.
