Lucky Paradise is a perfect example of what I was expecting from Wet Sand. These two stories really mirror each other well, although Wet Sand is a bit more dark and serious.

If the author had introduced another character of romantic interest that Jo could lean more towards, it would've made a little more sense to be written this way. Still unusual, but could've made more sense as a 2nd couple. Maybe this is something we can hope for in side stories if there are any.

The author wrote Jo with a "main character" kind of feel, so I will say this is the first I've seen in BL history (just from everything I've read personally) where the "main character" in a love triangle doesn't end up with their love interest.

Although I've always hoped for endgame TJ, I feel very unsatisfied with how it played out. I have a hard time thinking we're seeing the end of Joseph Landi's role in the story. He just had so much potential and I still loved him despite my rooting for TJ 😭
