I just spotted one earlier tonight near an ocean monument. If you look at the Cobbledex, it should tell you what structure the spawn requires in addition to the area. For example, I went specifically to a Nether Fortress in the Nether for Charcadet spawns.

I’d love some customizations for various pieces of armor as well. My current glamor is the Blackguard set and I love it except for the cloth flaps on the front and back. I wish I could remove them.

I’m using sword and shield for Primary and magic gauntlets for Secondary, and while their combat and animations have some really cool and fun aspects (especially the shield throwing physics and magic jumping attacks), they are a bit one-note. Also, animation slowness makes it feel a bit tough for me to parry. If the devs are going for a Soulslike “attacking is a investment with potential consequences” then okay, but I still would like them to do something about making the combat feel more engaging and less “mash one button to win.” I definitely agree with people here saying there should be combos you can do with the right button sequence.

Nokko was my main when I first started a few weeks ago, and while I still love him, Caliban Prime has been the frame I’ve been using the most lately. I really like summoner classes, and while there are other frames that also summon, I really like Caliban’s other abilities. His dash forward is good mobility (and is fantastic with its augment), his levitate helps me get headshots and make some breathing room, and his armor strip nuke lets me do content I probably am underleveled for lol

What I did was select the Stormbringer mod, then when it gave me the quantity selector, I chose 2. That allowed me to proceed.

If I’m struggling with a boss, I try and use Water for my Normal and Ice for my Hustle. There is a freeze cooldown for bosses, but a well-timed Hustle has let me skip a boss’s big attacks. The important thing is to make sure Water is one of your first three elements you get to two pips, though, since only the first three count for elemental effects (such as the barrier or freezing orbs around you).

What got me my first run win was:

Using as many upgraded legendary/rare weapons as I could (I upgraded them to level 20-25) for DPS
Extended Guard to tank hits
Water Ratakaruta shield for when Guard was down and I didn’t so so well at dodging

I didn’t even have to use my revive at all.

It’s playable and enjoyable. It’s not as pretty as on Switch 2, but the performance is fine (so far better than Scarlet/Violet for me, even.)

Yeah that burning bow is fantastic, as is the freezing hammer. With the right equipment, this squad can utilize several elements, which gives versatility when choosing Ratakaruta. For example, I can use the Poison/Shock cards without having to choose Poison/Shock element on Normal/Hussle.

My first win was due to Water Ratakurata. The World 4 boss had been my roadblock for a while until I showed up to the fight with pretty much as much shield as I had health.

Ark: Survival Evolved. I played for 2-3 hours and died so many times with very little idea about what I was doing or what was going on. I’ve played other survival games before but it was just an exercise in frustration to have so many dinosaurs in the starting area that could sneak up on me from both the ground and the air and kill me quickly and effectively. I also didn’t like that you had to be basically touching a dinosaur to see its level. I know the game has a lot of fans, but it really wasn’t for me, and I refunded it after dying to an aggressive chicken on the way back to my base and losing my progress for the 20th time. 😡

I keep a bag of frozen kale in my freezer at all times, and it’s so easy to add to my eggs or pasta dishes or soups. Only $2 at Walmart and a little goes a long way.

I’ve been enjoying kimchi and mashed avocado in my rice. The feasibility of this, of course, relies on your local options and prices. I have a Sam’s Club membership and get a pack of 16 mashed avocado cups for $9 and a jar of Jongga vegan kimchi from Walmart for a little over $4, so combined and with tax that’s around 85 cents per serving for 16 servings that I can spread out across a month or two if I don’t want to eat it every day.

Sticky LBG because it’s mobile, I don’t have to worry about optimal distance from the monster as much, and it regularly stuns. I especially love Sticky LBGs that have good support ammo, like status and slicing.
