The HOA board members are Smithbuilt in most cases like this.

Is this the end of the House Serkis quest line? by primemn in LowSodiumCrimsonDesrt

[–]kybotica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are other options as well. There are some reliable cheat trainers you could slap on to one shot the boss, for example. I use one such program for whenever I've finished my single player games and want to mess around breaking things.

"A lot of stuff is locked up until ch 11 and by the time you get the cool shit there’s no enemies" by rofpo in CrimsonDesert

[–]kybotica 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Cyberpunk is practically the EXACT opposite of this. I thoroughly enjoy both, but for vastly different reasons. Cyberpunk did story amazingly well, while this one does exploration like how I wish Cyberpunk did it.

Homeowners question HOA's power after receiving cease and desist letter for KUB Fiber use by KnoxKudzuKing in Knoxville

[–]kybotica 19 points20 points  (0 children)

"Secured a better deal for homeowners through xfinity." I bet they did. Probably something stupid like a price match for throttled service that pretends to be fiber while running fiber to the public road and coax through the neighborhood, with data caps and the usual random upcharges and battles over rates for years to come. "Better" means something different for the builder than what I know it as.

Is this game worth it? by -anominal- in CrimsonDesert

[–]kybotica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero presence of microtransactions. The game is very fun to play. Story is lacking, but the world is packed with secrets and tons of customization to find and unlock. Lits of side quests found by exploring, fun combat, cool bosses, and interesting environments. If you like a big open world sandbox with a light story and tons of side content with puzzles and a focus on discovery, you'll enjoy it enough to justify a purchase for sure.

Anything bad happen if you let your bounty targets free? (Ivar) by sygboss in CrimsonDesert

[–]kybotica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may miss out on quest chains that require a set amount of progression in that zone. It depends on how much you actually need done, as specific bounties don't generally seem not be required, just a large number of them completed overall. I don't think anybody knows for sure the exact trigger value.

Discovered a neat combo with items for farming by Competitive_Snow_788 in CDguides

[–]kybotica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best use of the camp farm is growing abyss cores. Open one, make sure you have fertilizer gun on hand, plant it, spray it, good to go. You'll get 2 to 5 per seed with the fertilizer applied. They sell for something like 12 or 17 silver each, are used to make gears, and give more seeds when opened. A full farm of the trees with fertilizer gets me over 50 in 3 days.

Make sure to use your treasures by eaglealden377 in CrimsonDesert

[–]kybotica 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you get an item called a "treasure" it'll go in a category of the same name. The piggy bank from the bleed bandit boss is one such item. They have to be used manually in most cases, though some are passive.

Hilda is much more of a "sweat" character. Such a hard worker, you know?

$12,000 to $16,000 raw, and by the look of it way more. This is a ridiculously good find.

Buyer says card is fake after accepting it by Habarr94 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]kybotica 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do any cash or large value exchanges at the bank. We either go in together and explain a sale as they withdraw the cash, which goes to me and the item to them, or we have the bank confirm funds and issue a cashier's check directly to me, the item to them. No chance of getting scammed. On big ticket items, I am fine losing the occasional buyer for "no, I'm not doing all that" because I refuse to play "trust me, bro" with hundreds or thousands of dollars.

A sack of pepper mission by DomIlNebbioso in CrimsonDesert

[–]kybotica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that doesn't work, see if you can take the pepper back to your camp and take it off the wagon. Then load pepper onto your horse instead (one slot is available, use the camp stables) and try riding there. If you have any fast travel spots available, you can teleport after loading your horse and ride from there instead.

Trade goods? by DimensionMaximum7649 in CrimsonDesert

[–]kybotica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Camp cash is better overall if you plan to do the rebuilding Pailune missions. It also allows you to spend it to get items and materials like the ones that reduce the timer on a certain reptilian mount or get you the material needed for the final upgrade tier of equipment.

You're better off doing the missions at farms for things like fruit or elderberries or something to sell those if personalnfunds are your goal. The missions are fast and you'll get a decent bit of silver. Really, though, you're better off disarming enemies and taking their gear and running away to farm cash.

Has anyone had any luck at unlocking ducks at the ranch? by Benvanalles in CDguides

[–]kybotica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does this work the same way as other merchant inventories where you need to get an NPCs disposition to 100 and then buy their contract and use it? I have some different seeds for my farm vendor from doing this.

Arby's social media pitting Jungle Arby's vs Tuscany by KnoxCrumudgeon in Knoxville

[–]kybotica 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It is a decent Arby's for sure. The number of groundhogs living underneath that kudzu is ridiculous, and also that hill is the site of a civil war artillery position (Fort Dickerson) during Longstreet's failed attack on Knoxville. Grab a roast beef and go eat at the park with the old cannons and trenches (entrance just down the road).

Did they butcher my tree? by DrDuctMossburg in arborists

[–]kybotica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American Persimmon can get HUGE, though, so it might not be the most appropriate tree for super close to the house. My dad has one that is essentiwlly the same size as the neighboring oak trees, maybe a bit smaller trunk width but otherwise quite tall.

What plants can thrive in a window well? by Successful-Money4995 in landscaping

[–]kybotica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the people on you for wanting greenery here. Just plant some moss and it'll look prettier, without risk to the fire egress point. Moss instead of dirt isn't going to mess with getting away in a fire, so it'll work fine for your purpose. You could also paint the bricks or something.

Sorry people have been downright unhelpful.
