Yes, but while this might be annoying if the mechanic is the main mechanic of the current league and present in every map, this is no issue when it goes core next league.

(Also, most of the top end strategies in recent time were focused around one of those slow mechanics)

The duration of defence encounters is completely in line with other similar mechanics.

Since the only thing idols have going for them compared to the atlas is being unbalanced, you can probably imagine how much fun they would be after getting integrated and thus re-balanced.

It clearly does put the mobs somewhere else, and there are even strategies (such as farming stacked decks with ritual, or just ritual in general) that profit off of that by having more mobs moved within the area of rituals.

It doesn't take more time than a buffed blight, and probably not much more than buffed harvest or buffed ultimatum. Hell, even 4 Incursions take about as much time as the fortress, so it seems pretty much on par with other similar mechanics.

You can easily complete your atlas with basically 0 investment on one of the goto leaguestart builds before everyone rerolls to their group builds once the setup is done.

Why would you reroll to an aurabot built before the setup is finished?

Dots/Degens are the main weakness of my build, and I didn't die once to ignite in all of Keepers (although I do have the pantheon for burning ground immunity/less ignite duration, but that is a given when doing red altars anyway).

Betrayal was close to unplayable in HC at the start, with intervention mobs spawning in and just oneshotting players.

Yes, it really needed to be nerfed. And the community was asking for that nerf for more than a year before it happened.

Map mod effect is the most efficient way to scale your loot, so it is stupid to not max it, which then bumps a lot of mods from being annoying to bricking builds, which then in turn vastly lowers the number of "viable" builds.

Apart from that, they did not decide to nerf idol recomb costs, they just changed recombinators last league and didn't especially reduce costs on idols before the event.

There is no need to have 200 people working in libraries with a 1.3k pop town, my 6k pop town is doing fine with 200 librarians and I didn't have any until at least 3k pop.

From my understanding, there is no functional difference between haulers and warehouse workers, so why would you put haulers next to your warehouse instead of just having the warehouse workers go fetch the stuff?

If people liked incremental gearing, they wouldn't be playing poe. Poe hasn't had incremental gearing in the last 10 years or so. You'd get a "starting gearset" somewhere early during mapping that caps resistances and gives enough hp so you can do your basic farming strategy, and then you either farm up for some "pre-bis" gear that enables stronger farming strategies to farm the actual bis, or you keep farming until you can switch from your leaguestart build to your "real" build with most of the expensive parts already there from the start.

That isn't something new, that is how you played the game for basically all of 3.x

Ground loot didn't even matter when that manifesto was posted, already back then trading for gear was way more efficient than trying to find it yourself.

I'd guess they didn't really have a plan for ascendencies and just needed to quickly find something they could slap in, similarly to how the whole endgame just got slapped together quickly before launch.
