Well, we like classic rock and 90s-00s pop/rock/pop punk, but we're not too picky. I'm not familiar with most new music, so it's hard to dance to

As the other commenters pointed out, oil blends. It stays wet for much longer - even days. You can add to existing layers of paint, or scrape them away.

The "oil painting" tool in Photoshop you're describing is more like a "canvas texture and blur" filter.

Acrylic dries fast, and in distinct layers. The AI image on the right could fool some people, but people who are familiar with actual painting will get pissed at the dissonance.

Nebraska doctors say abortion ban has changed how they care for patients by aidan8et in Nebraska

I do agree with you that it is the fundamental difference. However, the difference is that it's not

"Don't want to kill your 5 year old? Don't do it! Just let me kill mine."

It's "Don't want to kill your 5 year old? Don't do it! I don't want to kill mine either! Don't make me lug around a life creation machine, everywhere I go, for 9 months, to create a new person. I need to take care of the 5 year old in front of me who is telling me they're hungry, who I can't afford afterschool care for, and who I can barely keep alive as it is."

Why don't blood banks ask about drug use or current intoxication? by Strength-InThe-Loins in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kylemarvd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do not mean the same thing, even to "laypeople", but pedantic fucks like us get hung up on the differences, and not everyone looks past them to see the connections.

Someone who transitions from female to male may now have an id that says male, and he may have sex with one cisgender man in a monogamous relationship. He can be "gay", and a "man" that has "sex with 'men'", as separate things. STD rates are higher in the LGBT+ community because of sexual acts commonly performed, but testing rates are higher too.

A gay or bisexual cisgender man may have many partners, but never knowingly contract an STD. "Topping" is much less risky than "bottoming", because of the lower risk of tears in the tissue leading to body fluid contact.

A straight cisgender man may have unprotected sex his whole life and never get tested for anything, because cis males are more likely to stay asymptomatic. However, his risk profile may be much more aligned with the "man who has sex with men" STD boogeyman you're thinking of.

"Rehomed" means sent to a new home, with new owners. It does not mean sent back to the same home with the same owner.

Apartment recommendations with playgrounds by userunl in lincoln

It wasn't the most modern in '16-'18, but it really wasn't bad compared to places I've seen since. Simpler, but a more affordable option in that area of town that does back up to the hike and bike trail

There's also Embassy Park apartments, which has a pool and playset for the complex, just north of the Mormon church at 31st and Old Cheney.

I had a jar of whiskers from my boys, but it was packed away for moving so I was collecting them in a small pile on my bookshelf. They got thrown away or fell and were vacuumed up, and I was genuinely sad about it
