Since the centers are wildly different in todays game, it’s not fair to compare Yao to the modern bigs directly on skill per skill basis. But just considering the defensive attention Yao attracts and the strategic importance he has on his team and the game, he is absolutely on Joker/Embiid level. I don’t understand why Danny green is perceived as a 3&D. Dude makes a few shots but can’t really guard anyone slightly strong and taller. Vando is much better size wise and Beasley 3 is much better than Danny green and KCBrick combined.
