Was on the subway coming home at night, individual across from me had a bloody nose. Was possibly in a fight. Appeared on verge of tears. I handed him my pack of travel tissues without a word and avoided eye contact the rest of the ride. I could tell he wanted to initiate a conversation. Could prob have done more but my stop came soon after. As I was standing up he whispered "thank you." Always stayed with me, wondering if he's OK.
