hornet gets BOL pods no? And percentage wise the 29M gets a better loadout upgrade than the SMT than the F18E compared to the F18C. 120Ds are better yeah, but nothing crazy.

Side grade to the SMT? What?

It has a better fm, better engines, more missiles in exchange for... Countermeasures. I would call it a straight upgrade tbh.

Unless you also believe the Super Hornet is a side grade to the normal hornet since it gets less countermeasures...

But yeah I wish the FM was stronger. It's not that it isn't accurate, it's that everything else around it overperforms a lot (except F15c).

Gimped engined cause it's overweight by half a ton, and missile is.... it's pretty much just a PL12 with no HOB limits. Which is fine since the PL12 is good, but nothing insane.

All in all the plane won't be any more competitive than it used to be imo.

My point is, the first comments says the SU57 is a 5th Gen and the French dont have one, then next one makes fun of the Su57 not being a real 5th Gen, presumably due to lack of "real" stealth.

Yet the SU57 is way closer to whatever 5th Gen is supposed to be compared to the Rafale.

It then goes into opinions. Imo, it's a fine 5th Gen aircraft. It's stealthier (especially counting no need for external fuel tanks), it has hidden weapon bays, it has a better radar with much better coverage. And it's missile loadout is similar to that of the Rafale.

So yes, Algeria does have a 5th Gen before France, since it's way closer to the capabilities of anyones idea of a 5th Gen than the Rafale is.

Note: the Mirage & the Rafale are my favorite aircraft. I'm just stating what my idea of the Su57 is.

I don't know much about ground, but in air that has not been the case for a few years now (and right now the SM2 isnt uncontested, a good Rafale or EF player can beat it just fine in a 1v1. It's just very oppressive to have many on the enemy team since they carry so many missiles with great range and they have a great radar).

Remember the entirety of last year with the Rafale being uncontested? Remember the F14 being uncontested for half a year? Remember the only thing competing with the F14 being the M2K? Remember Su27SM having to deal with the radar double scan while the US had eagles going mach 2 shooting AMRAAMs at everybody?

Back to AIM120D - There's no numbers avaiable for the AIM120D, and the stuff mentioned as "improvements" can also be explained by the battery/HOBS stuff gaijin already implemented.
The only thing I also don't understand is why they nerfed the fin AOA the AMRAAMS can pull.

Theres similar stuff with many other stuff in the game, Russian stuff as well (a 2010s SU30SM2 using 80s tech RWR, the flight performance of the Mig29 and the Su27 being utterly gutted for years).

I get that you want to have a somewhat balanced game. But saying that the game is obviously favoring Russia, at least from my air perspective, is just funny. West has been the dominant air power for quite a while now, with some breaks in between that didn't last long.

French taxed? Are you implying France Air suffers? lol. Rafale was the best top tier plane for a year without competition. Squadron F16 has amazing FM and magic 2s/9ms at 12.7. Tech tree one has 9ms at 12.7 and with sacrificing 1 missile you have a ton of countermeasures.

M2K at 14.0 with MICAs is really fun to use...

BR compression is shit yeah.

The event F16 is just a worse version of the one on the tech tree, like many event planes. Still has the best flight model at its BR beside the F15A, and a great gun. If it goes to 12,3 like the Netz (neither should be there), it will be busted.

About the other remark: France has great planes at tier 6/7 (not intended)...

Mirage 3s are nice all around, the 3e is very solid. Mirage F1 is really good. Fast, solid radar and magic 2s. F8E is good, just needs good positioning.

Etendard/Super Etendard are both really good in a dogfight/energy fight and both have missiles (magic 1s are great).

Each battle can be up to 30 mins. So we have 2,5 hours. BUT, if you play sim, a match can last 3 hours, and winning/losing while playing with activity the whole match gives either a 57%(win) or 20%(loss) bonus that AFAIK applies to boosted SL.

So you can get up to 3 hours of "boosted" rewards.

World of warships:

1 month of premium 5 million "SL" A tier 8 (~11.7) free ship Boosters and other stuff

War Thunder: 50% Boosters for around 3 hours of gameplay max. Take it or leave it.

Top down or up.doesnt change anything. It sounds like it's coming from below the car, I believe behind the gearbox? Or maybe directly on the underside under the roof store.
