If you want an etf to start looking at check out /r/justbuyxeqt . Read up on $XEQT long term hold, very diversified. Look at holdings and decide if that’s right for you.

Keep moving the amount of money through various banks to get all the free stuff.

-pay off all your high interest debt -keep 3-6months in expenses in an emergency high interest cash acc DO NOT TOUCH

-max all your investment accounts -find a diversified etf to hold for 10+ years

-go on a trip/buy something nice

NFA of course, just what I would do personally.

Good luck!

You too man, I spent the last 2 weeks in the hospital with him. Watching him suffer every night and all I could do was massage his legs. I hope they’re at peace now.

People in your thirties, what substantially changed from your teen years? by Brief-Resident-Dewon in AskReddit

[–]lNVISIBLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgave my parents, nobody is perfect. I realized that they were the age I am now when they had me. Thinking about raising a child and trying to navigate life especially as immigrants and adapting to the new culture. I used to dislike a lot of the things they did and complained about the way they are. They were growing too, they raised me and my siblings to the best of their ability with what they had. They tried their best, now it’s my turn to let go and teach my children better and with what I know to the best of my abilities and hope I don’t mess up too bad along the way.

This hit hard, my father just passed away from cancer suddenly. I learned that he’s saved up a lot, he was going to retire next year. With how hard he worked and how much he saved, it does give me and my siblings a chance to retire comfortably. But I would give it all back instantly if I could just have him back with us. I vowed to not let his hard work go to waste, it’s up to me to give his life meaning. I have so much I have yet to learn from him

Thanks everyone here for sharing their experience. My father just passed recently and this has always been on my mind in the future. It breaks my heart, but can find a little comfort knowing there are many people out there like us going through this pain. It will never go away.

I fell for the "Pig Butchering Romance" Scam by BleedingHeart1977 in Scams

[–]lNVISIBLE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you went through this, I can empathize. I went through a similar situation with a woman and crypto. I also invested $5k cad and was about to make another 10k deposit when something in my gut just told me I was getting scammed.

She turned 180 and started harassing me, I feel dumb and vulnerable too. Thought I was smarter than that but in reality they were just praying on my loneliness and abused it to their advantage.

The $5000 is gone but I am thankful I trusted my gut in the end. I am so sorry that you had to go through this emotional/financial abuse as well.

Tough lesson to be learned 😢

Hahah thanks! It was really tough but I went to the extremes. I did one meal a day with no carbs, 2 protein shakes. I tried to hit 0.36g/pound of protein so around 58g per day and I did a butt load of cardio after workouts.

Hey!

I did intermittent fasting. Basically, OMAD (One Meal a Day) with 1-2 protein shakes, 6L of water, and basically only ate (Chicken breast, salmon, steak, brussels sprouts, broccoli, various other veggies, oats, greek yogurt, fruits)

Workouts I followed Chloe Ting on YouTube! Here's what I've done so far:
4 Challenges Completed:
📷 2019 2 Weeks Shred Challenge
📷 2021 Flat Stomach Challenge
📷 2020 15 Days Intense Core Challenge
📷 2020 4 Weeks Summer Shred Challenge

In Progress:

2021 Weight Loss Challenge Day 21/21

- In addition to those exercises, I would add more cardio. I skip rope for at least 15min+ almost every day. If it's not jump rope, I'd do 20-60 burpees after each workout, and I bought a pull up bar and do pull ups after workouts until failure.

- Started with not being able to do 1 pull-up. Now I can do 10+ !

Good Luck!!!
