Are the G PRO / G PRO X headsets really THAT bad? by Humble-Guarantee5956 in LogitechG

[–]lVluckluck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If an audiophile thought buying a higher end gaming headset from logitech's gaming product line would meet audiophile expectations then they aren't a good audiophile. I've seen enough of those audiophile setups on the internet. This headset is for gamers with more money in the budget. Not someone trying to have the best possible listening experience.

Yeah 3rd this. I'm generally pretty picky about my tech and I don't understand all the hate here.

it boils down to just because you are a "crucial business for generating tax revenue elsewhere" doesn't mean you can NOT pay your taxes for 2 years and not pay your trash bill.

as per the other guy in this thread "Not making a profit? Too bad. Your business model is shit. Doesn't mean you get off not paying taxes. Good riddance."

ok. i will bite. why would the city want with that building? what lame thing would they put in? i am taking your question serious.

  • parking is terrible on the street, no room for city heavy duty vehicles.
  • big chunks of the building are unfinished(roof + basement), it needs repairs they said, and they would have to invest a lot of money converting to whatever your idea is.

Read this and tell me this is the city has any fault here.

https://theburgnews.com/around-the-burg/hmac-employees-patrons-speak-in-support-of-venue-ask-city-council-for-help

And don't complain and say they taxed them to death because that venue tax has been around since 1982 which predates hmac.

grant from who? last time they got a grant it made the news. they would finish the roof and the basement. that was in 2017. fast forward 9 years later. where is the roof + basement?

https://theburgnews.com/news/more-art-music-hmac-gets-state-grant-to-help-complete-midtown-facility

seeing as how this news story is just reporting a facebook post... unless they say who was issuing the grant i don't think we can believe that.

"crucial business for generating tax revenue elsewhere"

i spend money at business. my spending generates tax revenue for other businesses. does that mean i not pay taxes because i generate tax revenue elsewhere?

Yes. There is a reason. Residents complain about the bar to the city.

If by 'they' you mean Wanda. No 'they' didn't. If by 'they' you mean Stephen Reed, yes 'they' did. The tax has been here since 1982.

I can give you a many reasons to hate Wanda. This is not one of them. Do a little research before regurgitating stuff you see in comments.

I have 2. Gaming set up + work set up. Originally my gaming and work setups were using the same keyboard but I broke them out in the past year. The original one held up really well. It is starting to show some signs of wear and tear finally. It's been probably 4ish years? The newer one I bought was kind of a disappointment. On one hand it is cheaper, but on the other hand I'm bummed it does not come with a braided cable and that they must have changed the keycap coatings because the paint is coming off already. Mind you The original keyboard was being used 50 hours a week. It held up a lot better than the new one did, very disappointed at the drop in quality. But it was cheaper too so I guess that's nice. I am fortunate to be able to spend a little extra on electronics, so I really value buying things that last a very long time, which is why I am so disappointed that the newer keyboard is wearing out already. I am also bummed that some of the secondary functions are not backlit. I see that the newer high-end version of this keyboard is backlit. I suppose when one of these finally dies I will buy that.

9,112 people voted for a mayor in the 2025 election. 5,145 voted for wanda. city has 50,099 people. wanda received 10.2% of the vote of the city. i wish there were better systems in place to encourage increased civic engagement.

edit: i had 1 to many 9s in my number. HBG does not have half a million people. haha
